Chapter 39

In the evening Reylan came to Malhotra mansion. Reylan and Akash were engaged in their business talks and Anisha was making dinner. Till now Anaira is sleeping in her room. Anisha came out from the kitchen and asked Reylan to freshen up in Anaira's room. He agreed and went to her room. He slowly opened the door of her room went in and slowly closed it before turning to see Anaira sleeping while pouting with one hand under her cheek. He moves towards her and bends down to kiss her pouty lips. When he kissed her she opened her eyes and get shocked. Then red-tinted her chubby cheeks and sat up on the bed.

Anaira- When did you come?

Reylan- A while ago. I was talking with Mom and Dad downstairs. Just came to freshen up.

Anaira- Ok you go freshen up then I'll freshen up.

Reylan went to freshen up then came out from the bathroom and Anaira went downstairs. Just then Reylan's phone rings he picks up the call.

(On the Phone)

Reylan- Hello.

Michael- Sir I just got a call from our security department that someone injected something in the water pipe at the Knight Hotel in Midtown Manhattan.

Reylan- What!! How can that happen?? Who dares to do that? Block the water supply quickly and don't let anyone drink water from inside the hotel. Call the forensic department and test the water as soon as possible okay?

Michael- Yes Sir I told the manager to stop the water supply as soon as I got the news. But Sir your presence is needed in there. I don't know how the matter got leaked in the media. Everyone is panicking in the hotel. People are leaving earlier than their due time.

Reylan sighed rubbing his forehead and told him that he is coming back to New York and cut the call. He is deep in thought when Anaira comes to the room to call him for dinner.

Anaira- Ree!!

Anaira saw him frowning and deep in his thoughts on her balcony. She moved towards him placed her hand on the shoulder and asked.

Anaira- Ree what happened??

Reylan- Something happened in New York. I have to fly back there as soon as I can.

Anaira- Ohh is it something serious? How many days will you stay there?

Reylan nodded looking at her and again said something which made her think deeply.

Reylan- I know it's decided that 2 months later we will go back.  Now I have to go back and I don't know how much time will it take. But whether you want to come with me or you want to come 2 months later, it's your decision.

Though he said Anaira can come to New York 2 months still he hopes that she will come with him to New York. But he doesn't want to says this to her as it will not be easy for her to leave her parents, work and her place to move to a new place for forever.
But Anaira thought about it and didn't say anything just asked him to have dinner first. Reylan agrees as he thinks she needs time to think about it. After dinner, they all moved to the drawing room and sat there while having dessert.

Anaira- Mumma!! Papa!! I have something to say to you guys.

Akash- Yes Princess say na.

Anaira- Papa we are leaving for New York tomorrow.

Her parents are shocked even Reylan is surprised.

Anisha- Why baccha ?? Aren't you both supposed to go 2 months later??

Anaira- Yes Mumma but something came up so Reylan has to go there and he asked me if I want to go with him or 2 months later then I decided eventually I have to go so I think it's better to go with him or else I won't be able to go back 2 months later. My schedule will be too hectic.

Her parents looked at each other and then said.

Akash- Baccha we understand. Though we will be sad being separated from you this early but what you said is also make sense. Eventually, you have to leave so it doesn't matter whether you leave tomorrow or 2 months later.
Then Anaira packs some of her things which she wants to take to New York from her room then her parents decides that they will meet in Knight mansion tomorrow. Reylan and Anaira went back to Knight's mansion where they informs Reylan's parents about it. Adam asked Reylan about the matter and he told everything to his Dad. Anaira and Naina also got to know about that then Naina helped Anaira in packing. The next day they left India in Reylan's private jet after the emotional bid bidding to Anaira's parents. Even Naina's family also came to say goodbye to Reylan and Anaira.
