Chapter 38

Reylan and Anaira reached Malhotra's mansion.

Reylan- Anne I have an important meeting to attend so I won't be going inside.

Anaira- It's okay Ree, You go to the meeting just come back early for dinner Hmm?

Reylan-(Kissing her forehead) Yes baby.

Then Anaira got out of the car said bye to Reylan and went inside then he drove away to the office. Anaira's parents are eagerly waiting for her in the drawing room.

Anaira- Mumma!! Papa!!

Akash- My princess!! How are you?🙂

Anaira moved to her Papa and he hugged her.

Anaira- I'm fine Papa. How are you??

Akash-(Kissing her forehead) I'm also fine baccha. Come sit.

They both sat down on the sofa.

Anaira- Where's Mumma Papa??

Anisha-(Smiling) Here princess.

Anisha said while carrying a tray full of snacks and juices.

(Chilli pakora)

(Chicken popcorn)

(Chips)

(Mango smoothie)

(Sprite)

(Pineapple juice)

Anaira- Mumma all these!! Thank you. You are the best.

Anisha-(Smiling) Of course I know that. My daughter loves eating her favorite food.

Anaira laughed along with her Papa and started eating. They talked for an hour then Anisha went to the kitchen to make lunch.

Anaira- Papa there is an international conference in Sidney next month for cardiologists. The Sidney Medical Association especially wants Mumma to attend. But I don't know if I should ask her or not.

Akash- Why you are hesitating baccha ?? She's your Mumma. You should ask if she wants to attend or not.

Anaira- I know it's just I feel guilty because after such a long time Mumma took a leave from the hospital so I don't know how to ask her.

Akash- It's okay baccha. Your Mumma won't mind. Just talk to her hmm??!!

Anaira- Okay then I'll talk to her.

Some minutes later, Anisha called them to the table.

They had a North Indian lunch, and Anaira went to her room to take some rest. A few minutes later, Anisha came to her room and sat on the bed, Anaira lay down on the bed keeping her head on her mother's lap. Then both started talking while her mother asked her.

Anisha- Princess are you happy there??

Anaira-(Smiling) Yes Mumma I'm very happy. Dad and Mom are so nice, they love me and care for me just like you and Papa.

Anisha- And Reylan??

Anaira-(Smiling) He is also Mumma. Though I don't know much about him we are happy with the way it's going on. Maybe or maybe not, it will take some time for us to know each other very well.

Anisha- Yes baccha. We are happy if you are happy. We just want you to be happy in your life and nothing more.

Then they both hugged each other saying "I love you". Slowly Anaira fell asleep on her mother's lap. Anisha kissed Anaira's head caressing her hair and smiled seeing her princess fall asleep on her lap cutely. Akash peeks his head from the door, Anisha sees him and says.

Anisha- She just fell asleep.

Akash nodded his head smiling moved close to the bed and kissed Anaira's head. Then both headed to their room.
