Chapter 46

Anaira quickly straightened her clothes and nudged Reylan to answer Michael.

Reylan- Come in.

Michael came inside and spoke.

Michael- Sorry for disturbing you, Sir, but I found out who went to the hotel.

Hearing him Reylan asked while sitting up straight.

Reylan: Who is?

Michael-(glancing at Anaira) This is Mrs. Knight.

Reylan is very suprised about the new found information.

Reylan- Anna?!!

Anaira- I came to talk about something important. But I'm not suprised now that you got to know before I say anything. The bodyguards you put to spy on me told you already.

Anaira again got angry remembering the topic of bodyguards. For some minutes she forgot that she's mad on Reylan due to the intimate act done by Reylan.

Reylan- No Anna the bodyguards didn't said anything to me. Michael got a call from the hotel saying someone went to the security control room so I asked him to find out about it. We didn't have much information regarding the case. So we are just being cautious.

Michael is surprised watching his Sir explaining everything without  being asked.

Anaira- ( Nodding) But that doesn't justify why you PUT the bodyguards to spy on ME?
(She asked stressing the 'PUT' and 'ME' words more)

Reylan- (Sigh) Anna baby these bodyguards are for your safety not for spying on you.

Anaira- Okay I understand but what about that they followed me to the washroom also?

Reylan- It's not their fault. They were just protecting you and nothing else.

Anaira- I am not going to say anything to you.

Reylan- Listen, we will talk about it later, but first tell me why you went to the hotel.

Anaira- Ah, I went to the hotel because I was unsure. I went to the hotel security control room because I could not stop wondering why the staff members fainted and they could not recall anyone going inside. There, I discovered that someone had used a drug that causes fainting inside the room. Additionally, cause them to lose their memory a few minutes beforehand. This is exactly what happened with your staff. They do not recall anything that happened fifteen minutes after other security personnel left for lunch, but they do recall everything else.

That is shocking information for Michael and Reylan.

Reylan- What !!!! Why did not the forensic department get any information? How did you find out about this?

Reylan asked Anaira as he is unable to process this information, and Michael is curious as to how Anaira became aware of it.

Anaira: The forensic department was unable to find anything due to tampered reports. This indicates that the person responsible for the incident is either highly influential or may have the support of influential individuals.

Reylan: Anna, you did an excellent job.

Michael: Mrs. Knight, you truly are a genius. Sir, if we include Mrs. Knight in our team, we will undoubtedly be able to catch the culprit soon.

Reylan- (Staring) But this could be dangerous for her.

Anaira- Michael is correct; you should include me on your team to catch the culprit. I am going to help you.

Reylan - Anna

Michael interrupted Reylan before he could say anything to Anaira.

Michael- Sir, we will protect Mrs. Knight. Please, Sir, say yes. She can be a huge help in this situation.

Reylan looked at Anaira and Michael, who were pleading with him.

Reylan: (sighs) Fine. But, Anna, you can't complain about the bodyguards. I am going to tighten the security around you.

Anaira: (Pouting) Ok

Michael then told Reylan that he has to leave for a important meeting in a xxx hotel in fifteen minutes. They went to the meeting after dropping Anaira off at home because she did not have any work at the hospital and wanted to return home.
