Third Person POV

It's now three in the afternoon and the girls are both getting up from a well needed nap.
While they were asleep the group chat of their friend group wouldn't stop going off. Mainly the reason they got up

THE CLUB
Samantha: Guys what are we doing this evening.

Thomas: I don't know what'd you suggest we do?

Attiana: I suggest we all hang out at the arcade, who's down?

Thomas: Sure I don't mind

Samantha: Yeah I'm up for that

Attiana: I need the two lovebirds to confirm

Kayla: Yes I'm coming

Attiana: I need to know if Tara is coming as well

Kayla: Yes she is

Samantha: As always y'all are together. I know y'all doing the dirty dance

Tara: Hey guys. Yes I'm coming lol stop embarrassing me. We'll meet you guys at 4:30

Kayla's POV

Getting ready to hang out with our friends we both showered and did our hair. I got dressed in some black skinny jeans and graphic tee that has Pink Floyd across the front of it. I added my white forces as plus. You can never go wrong with plain white forces.
"Baby you ready yet?" I shouted to Tara in the bathroom as she's been in there a while.
"About to come out" she answers.
I see her exit the bathroom in a black and white striped romper and her white forces. Coming up and wrapping her arms around me I get that familiar whiff that is just enough to drive me crazy.

Pulling up to the arcade I see our friends standing outside taking pictures for their insta as always. I park and get out to open the door for my princess. She takes my hand and step out without breaking the contact.
"About time y'all showed up, I thought you guys canceled on us" Thomas piped up.
"We're not even five minutes late" I state.
"Come on let's get inside, he's being silly" Samantha calls.

"No no no, you're not winning another round again" Tara whines. We were both on the dance till you drop platform in the arcade and I won the three previous rounds. "Another song!" Tara shouts and she selects 'Shake it off' by Taylor Swift. "Ok let's go then" I said sure I'm gonna win. We're halfway into the song when a girl comes up and starts cheering my girlfriend on. It looks like Tara is enjoying the cheerleader as well. Of course I'm jealous so I was also distracted which caused her to win this round she started jumping and cheering that she finally won. The girl high-fives her and compliments my girlfriend saying "You were so good, you looked good doing it as well". I looked at her with a perched up eyebrow because what the heck does she mean.

I brush it off and let Tara enjoy her victory. We then went off to find our friends engaged in a very intense game of 'Whack a mole'. It's Samantha against Attiana and the loser has to buy everyone ice cream. Attiana kicks in her competitiveness she has when she plays volleyball, she did ended up winning over Samantha.

Leaving the arcade we went in our different cars to meet up at the diner. While in the car I have my eyes focused on the road while Tara is still bragging about her win. I decided to tell her that I got jealous because the girl was cheering her on and checking her out while doing so "Did you know that I was jealous?. While we were dancing the girl that was cheering you on was checking you out, I felt angry but it easily subsided. I have something planned." She looks at me with a sneaky look in her eyes and I can't quite read it.

We pull up to the diner and our group all got burgers and fries. We talked about how we're all getting along in classes and how we should hang out more often. We don't do parties, I guess you can say our whole group is introverted. We can wait a couple more years to drink alcohol and party till we black out.
We then had ice cream on Samantha.

Heading back to Tara's I decided to take a pit stop at my house to pick up something for tonight. I pulled up at my house and quickly went in, I saw my dad on the couch watching tv "Hey dad, just coming to grab something real quick." "Hey darling, I hope you and Tara are locking the doors and staying inside at night." He warns "Yeah we are, we're just getting back from the arcade with friends from school, about to head back to Tara's." I told him. "Ok remember you're coming home tomorrow, schools on Monday." "I know." I said before running upstairs to my room and in the closet.

There it was my red velvet box, sitting on a shelf all content. I know Tara will be so sore.
As I grab the box I raced back down stairs as I remember I left Tara in the car running. "Bye dad, see you tomorrow" I shouted behind me before I lose the door.
Entering my driver side and placing the box in Tara's lap "Do not open it, it's a surprise." I said to her. "But I wanna know what's in it, it's such a nice box" on the box there's a gold writing on it stenciled 'Hers for her'. Tara won't register what it means right now but later she will.
Pulling into Tara's driveway I park and take the box from her, I went around to her door and opened it for her. We then enter the house and closed the doors and windows as I remember what my dad said.
