Third Person POV

The two lovebirds make their way downstairs as they hear the closing of the front door. As expected it was Ms Smith.
"Welcome home mom" Tara greeted her mother. "Hi Ms Smith, how was your flight?" Kayla asks the older woman. "Oh it was lovely, couldn't stop thinking about you girls though. Come and give me a hug both of you."
"I'm so happy for you guys. Just the other day Tara was such a hopeless romantic" she quips.
"Tara you know we having a full details talk right?" She looks to her teen.

"Mom, boundaries. But yes we will have a talk later." Tara says. As Ms Smith gets comfortable in her home she walked to the fridge and pulled out a bowl of chocolate covered strawberries.
"Oh you girls didn't have to make me a treat, they do look yummy though. Thank you" she coos.
Looking over at her girlfriend Tara smirks remembering what they did after she had prepared the chocolate covered strawberries forgetting they were gonna eat them.
"You're most welcome Ms Smith, I thought you'd like the gesture." Kayla says taking all the credit. Tara looks over and gasped, Kayla is so sneaky she thought.

Later that Sunday it's time for Kayla to go back home as she has school in the morning. Relaying her goodbyes to her girlfriend "Bye baby, call me before you go to bed and please don't give too many details. I wanna be able to live." She says implying about the talk her girlfriend is about to have with her mom.
"I won't babe, love you and drive safe." As she wished her bye they shared a really passionate kiss before parting.

Few minutes later
Kayla😫❤️: Home.

Tara🐰😌: Good, call you later love.

Tara heads  downstairs to find her mom in the kitchen preparing dinner.
"Mom I'm ready for our talk" she announced
"Oh ok, you wanna start first?" She asks
"Yeah. Kayla and I are pretty serious. So much that I allowed her to take my virginity" she exhales looking at her mom for disappointment.
"Oh" Ms Smith said, then continued "How was it?"
Tara flipping back to the memories and confesses "It was so good, she's so gentle and she makes sure I'm ok. She also does this thing where she draws me a bath and gets me my favorite snacks. I think it's called aftercare"

"That's so romantic baby,thank you for telling me. I didn't know Kayla was that soft. I guess you got the right one huh?" She says. 'I guess I can let Tara know I have someone who does the same. I know she won't be upset but we'll leave that for another time' Ms Smith thought to herself.
"Yeah mom she's really the best. Oh! She also got me this bunny with our initials that says ' T and K forever' it's so freaking cute."
"You'll have to show me after dinner. Let's set the table and dig in." And with that the single family sat at their dinner table engrossed in conversation and little moments from the older woman's trip.

Tara would've never guessed last summer that she'd be in this great relationship where she has everything she could ever need.

On the other hand Kayla is very happy that she found love like the one her aunt always spoke about. That love when you're around that person your heart is high on adrenaline. Kalya lays in her bed and thinks about how she's gonna prepare a better date than the last one she had with her girlfriend.

The friend group is still the best and everyone is happy for the couple of their group.
Attiana started dating a girl from the basketball team and they have this really competitive dynamic that makes it even more romantic because of it
Samantha is still trying to figure a few things out as she navigates her feelings she has of both genders.
Thomas is still enjoying the years he has as a teenager and is not ready for a relationship. He thinks his love is gonna appear when he arrives at college.
