Eren's POV

It's already been two days since I've joined the Scouting Legion. Mikasa, Armin and I got our capes and uniforms. We've already met our Commander, I mean, he was there for the orientation and everything, but he keeps talking about a Captain Levi and we haven't seen him so far. 

Today, we're going to get a layout of how it's like in the Scouting Legion. Armin and I meet Mikasa in the dining hall. We sit down and then Commander Erwin comes in, followed by another, much shorter man next to him.

He. Was. Beautiful.

You could hear all of the girls gasp when they saw the shorter man. His raven black hair framed his face so perfectly and his grey eyes, well, they made all the girls' hearts flutter. I never knew I could feel this way about someone who is the same sex as me but... I could. I decided to brush off the feelings for now, thinking that they are minor.

"Hello, young soldiers. You all should know me by now, I gave a speech at the orientation. This," Commander Erwin starts. He points to the man next to him, "Is your Captain, Levi. He will be the Squad Leader for the upper wing in the expeditions." Captain Levi nods and crosses his arms. All the girls sigh and Levi rolls eyes. I look over to Mikasa and Armin to see their reactions and I'm shocked when I see Mikasa practically drooling over Levi.

"Hey, he's probably not available," I whisper to her. She snaps out of a daydream to scowl at me.

"I don't like him, Eren," she says, blushing. I roll my eyes and chuckle.

"Oh, so you weren't drooling just now?" I say. Her face goes red but soon I realized that she wasn't flustered: she was getting angry.

"I. Don't. Like. Him. Just because he's the Captain does not make me like right away. Just stop it, Eren," she says, turning around. Armin tries to console Mikasa but she shrugs him off.

Wow. I didn't think I'd piss her off that much.

The Commander goes on and on and gives us boring information about the expeditions, the rules of flares, the formations and what-not. It's finally time to go to sleep. Yeah, the Commander ranted on the whole afternoon. Armin and Mikasa decide to stay a little while after, asking the Commander some questions on the expedition rules. I was really tired so I decided to go to my room. 

I was walking to my room when suddenly I bump into someone. 

"Watch it, soldier," a familiar voice huffed. I looked at who I bumped into and blushed when I saw that it was the Captain himself. Huh. He's way shorter up close. 

"Why are you blushing?" he asked, confused. I try to look away and stutter,

"Uh, well,I um... uh... blushing? Me? No... I'm not blushing, Captain. Um... I'll go to bed." 

And then I ran off. Like a coward.

I hated myself! You absolute idiot! What would Levi Heichou think of me now?
