Quick note: Thank you all so much for reading! I actually wasn't expecting this many views and votes like holy crap. You guys are the best and I'm so happy for all the views. I'll try not to disappoint with the ending but we'll see.

I was getting increasingly worried about Armin. Yes, I just admitted to Mikasa that I loved her back but when Armin stormed off, I realized that I had made a huge mistake. I ran into the forest and tried to chase back Armin. I called out his name over and over again. He did not reply. It came to my knowledge that it was eerily quiet.

I decided to keep on running and about 10 minutes later, what I saw nearly changed my life.

I saw a Titan, lifting a familiar blonde headed boy into its' mouth and everything inside me broke. I was terrified, I was sad but most of all, I was angered. By the Titan and by Armin. How dare it take Armin and how dare Armin let himself be taken. 

I think I acted on emotion as I then... turned into a Titan. I grabbed Armin, just before he fell completely into the other Titan's mouth and I kept him safe in my hand. I then proceeded to obliterate the Titan before me. It turned into a pile of smoke and I changed back to my human form, with Armin laying besides me. 

I was still blurry-visioned from the transformation. I see a blurry Mikasa run towards me and Armin. She was shouting us but I couldn't really hear as I was exhausted from that one little fight. I panted and as Mikasa shook me, my exhaustion took over and I blanked out.

I woke up in a bed, assuming that Mikasa had placed me there or someone else, and I had been clothed. That didn't freak me out as much. What did freak me out was that someone was sitting in my room watching me sleep. It was Levi. 

"Wh-what are you doing here? What happened? How did I get here? Is Armin okay? Is Mikasa okay-"I blurted out. Levi shut me up. 

"Relax, everyone's fine. I wanted to talk to you, Cadet Jaeger," he said, in a stern voice, as he stood up and approached me. Uh oh, he said 'Cadet Jaeger' and not 'Eren'. 

"Y-yes?" I asked him.

"Jaeger, I want to make something clear. You and I? We have nothing, alright? I was just in the moment, and I apologize for what I did. Are we clear?" he says. I sighed. Thank god! I knew I felt nothing for Levi and I knew that I loved Mikasa more.

"Oh, that's so great. I was about to address it. I... fell in love with someone else anyways," I say, looking down to the ground. The Captain crossed him arms.

"Oh really? And who would that be?" he asked me.

I pause for a bit before looking at him.

 "Mikasa," I replied, and then looked back to that one spot on the ground.

In the end, Armin was fine. He had sprained an arm and was taken out of training for a while until his arm healed. Mikasa and I... are now a thing. We were only allowed to date as long as we focused on training and put our attention on training. It was cadets first, relationship second. Armin came to terms with the two of us and Levi pretended as if nothing happened between the two of us.

Things stayed that way until....

Well.... you know. Don't you watch our entire lives?
