No one's POV:
A new day dawned upon the hotel, its corridors bathed in the soft glow of morning light. Lucifer arose from his bed, his thoughts still lingering on the events of the previous night, and descended the staircase with a renewed sense of purpose. Despite the lingering traces of uncertainty, a flicker of anticipation danced in his eyes, echoing the connection forged amidst the stars.
Reaching the lobby, Angel and Husk greeted him with playful banter, their teasing tones punctuating the air with lighthearted camaraderie. "Hey ya, short king!" the taller demon said, settling into a chair. "Morning! A wonderful day, isn't it?"
"You're too happy, it's annoying," Husk remarked, sipping his drink. "Whiskers right, did something good happen? No way, are you and Smiles dating;!!!???" Angel teased in a playful tone.
"What? No! Why do you think that..?"
"I mean, ya just get excited when it comes to rubber ducks - kinda cute - dollface, your 'wife' and-" Before he could finish the sentence, Husk interrupted. "And that smiling fucker.""Awww, you finished my sentence, how cute, babycakes~" the spider said in a flirty tone, being pushed away by a flushed 'not drunk enough for this shit' Husk. "Oh, you two, I really don't know what you're talking about~" said Lucifer, chuckling at the duo.
Charlie, ever the beacon of enthusiasm, bounded towards them, her excitement palpable as she announced her plans for a movie night. "Good morning, everyone!" Charlie exclaimed, her voice brimming with energy. "Guess what? Tonight's movie night! I've got popcorn, snacks, and, and, Ihhhhhh!!!"
Angel grinned, his enthusiasm matching Charlie's. "Movie night? Sounds like a plan, dollface! I'm in."
Husk grunted his agreement, a hint of amusement in his voice. "As long as there's enough popcorn, I'm in, I guess," he remarked, his eyes empty and lifeless as always.
Lucifer nodded in approval, a warm smile gracing his features. "A movie night sounds delightful, Char-Char. Thank you for organizing it," he acknowledged, his appreciation evident in his tone.
Meanwhile, Vaggie busied herself behind the reception desk, her attention divided between the guests and the day's tasks. With a subtle nod of acknowledgment and a little smile, she observed the lively exchange, her expression one of quiet amusement. "Though I'm not much of a movie enthusiast, maybe I could give it a chance," Alastor said, with the same expression as ever.
While they talked, Nifty, ever the whirlwind of activity, breezed through the lobby with a tray of freshly baked pastries, her cheerful demeanor adding a touch of warmth to the bustling atmosphere. "Pastries anyone? Fresh from the oven!" she chimed, her enthusiasm contagious as she offered treats to the group.
As evening descended upon the hotel, they gathered, sitting on the sofas in the lobby. Charlie, ever the gracious host, distributed popcorn and snacks with animated enthusiasm, her infectious laughter filling the room.
Settling into their seats, the group immersed themselves in the unfolding narrative, the flickering light of the screen casting shadows across their faces. Amidst the laughter and occasional gasps, a subtle tension lingered between Alastor and Lucifer, their shared proximity a silent testament to the unspoken bond between them.
As the movie progressed, Alastor turned towards Lucifer, his voice a mere whisper amidst the darkness of the room. "Lucifer, may I have a word?" he inquired, his tone gentle yet tinged with uncertainty.
Lucifer met his gaze, his expression one of quiet acknowledgment. "Of course, Alastor. What's on your mind?" he replied, his voice a soothing balm amidst the whispers of the night.
