Crash!!! Flight-102

An Unexpected Ally

In the previous chapter:

Hans takes out his cellphone, goes to the youtube app, and finds the video in the "Most Viewed" section-"Flight-102 was sabotaged, expect more."

Hans selected the video and it started playing, there was a map of the world in the background, and a voice said :

"People of the world, at present you don't know who I am; but you should. I am the bringer of death! Your government is lying to you, and being the little lambs that you are, you accepted the lies as the truth without even giving it a second thought. If you look a bit deeper, you'll see for yourself; why isn't the government releasing technical details of the incident? Why is there no representative of the aircraft-manufacturer in the investigation team? Why is the 'hero' Hans Peterson shying away from the media?

I'll tell you why. It's because Flight-102 didn't have a 'technical problem' , it was sabotaged by me. It was their luck that Hans stopped the flight from crashing, otherwise my dream of knocking down another useless skyscraper in Manhattan, would've been fulfilled. If there is anything I respect, it is a worthy opponent, and Hans is one. So Hans, let's see if you can stop me again."

The video ended, Hans and Brian looked at each other, not knowing how to respond to this.

"Well, they'll have to take me seriously at least now." said Hans.

"I said it once and I'm saying it again, for being such an intelligent person, you're incredibly dumb!" said Brian.

Just then, the screen in the app changed, and in the 'related videos' section a new video had appeared,"Video fake says Secretary of State, Hans Peterson to be arrested for causing mass hysteria".

Within a few seconds, the sound of police car sirens could be heard.

"I'd like to see a lawyer please." said Hans.

"And I'd like to see George Washington, you're a different type of prisoner, you'll be assigned a lawyer, when we feel it's required. Now, we'll just have a nice little chat with the Director of CIA. Bless him, here he comes now." replied the guard.

"Mr. Hans, what you did today was a very stupid thing to do." the Director said, he was accompanied by two agents, one he recognised as Agent Smith, the other however he hadn't seen before, but if Smith looked imposing, this one was terrifying.

"I did not make any video, let alone upload it on youtube, I've never uploaded a video on youtube in my life, infact I don't even have a youtube account!" replied Hans.

"Stop lying Mr. Hans! Do you know that using an IP address, we can find out your location. You were smart of course, you didn't do it from your house, you rather did it from the coffee shop in your office, and we have security camera footage placing you at that place at the time when the video was uploaded." said the other agent.

 " I don't know about all that, all that I know is that I'm innocent! I'm innocent until proven guilty, not the other way around!" Hans retorted.

"We'll give you some time to think Hans, of course it's not easy to give yourself up, but believe me it is the best option available to you." the director said, and the agents left the room.

The three agents walked down the corridor.

"Sir, I feel that he's telling the truth, all the evidence which we have against him are circumstantial, just because he was in the shop doesn't mean that he uploaded the video from there, the footage covered only the entrance." said Smith.
