No more light show. Too bad.
Claudell saw the interior light's dull glow. The car looked almost as bad as Stella's face after a double shift. The driver's door stood ajar.
No body. No person. Nobody was inside, his clouded mind at last processing the images before his eyes.
"Humph," he said.
The rain stopped, and the silver light from the moon was peeking behind the last curtain of disappearing clouds. Like a beacon leading him on, the shimmering rays led the ghostly white figure of Claudell down the dirt road toward the wonderful magical World of Unknown.
