Natsu and Lucy

Alright guys, for this chapter I'm gonna tell Lucy and Natsu's story, it takes place right after Lucy left Gray.

Lucy walked away from Gray, a little disappointed. It's not as if it was unexpected, he always went home to study.

While she met up with some other friends they started walking to karaoke.

They were all laughing and singing like crazy when Lucy excused herself to the washroom.

She finished washing her hands and was drying them when suddenly there was a loud boom close by and the building started shaking.

Then there was another, and another.

She started panicking and tried to get out but a piece of ruble landed on her foot, holding her in place.

Her ears started ringing and she heard her friends screaming for help, the song "If I Die Young" by the Band Perry playing in the background.

Lucy covered her ears and curled up in a ball, trying to block the nightmare.

She screamed until she hit her head and the world went black.

*TIME SKIP*

Lucy squinted at the blinding light flashing in her eyes.

"Yo lady? You dead?"

Huh? Who was that?

"Can you get that thing out of my face?"
she hissed, her voice hoarse from screaming.

"Oh, sorry" the guy removed the flashlight and she got a clearer picture of him.

Spiky pink hair held down by a red bandanna with triple piercings on his ears and one stud on the corner of his bottom lip.

He wore a leather jacket and ripped up jeans with bulky combat boots.

He was HOT~~!!

She shook her head and tried to sit up...he made no move to help her.

"Are you going to sit there like an idiot or help me up?" she asked with annoyance.

"Sitting here like an idiot sounds just fine to me" he replied with extreme sarcasm.

She rolled her eyes and tried to stand but her injured leg gave out, she yelped as she stumbled.

Muscular arms wrapped around her slim waist, "you okay?"

"Ha! I knew you were nice!"

He frowned and let go, she dropped to the floor, groaning in pain.

The song was still playing in the other room-well, what was left of it anyways.

"What happened?" She asked.

"There was an extreme bombing, almost the whole city exploded!" He laughed.

Tears filled her eyes, what about her friends?

Her father??!!

Natsu stopped and stared at her.

"Um, you okay?" He asked.

She started crying harder and he started panicking. The only girl he ever really talked to was Juvia, AND SHE NEVER CRIES!!!

He kept trying to comfort her.

"At least you're alive right?" Natsu said. He mentally face palmed. Really??

It didn't look like she was moving anytime soon, he sighed in annoyance. She stared, confused as he was about to pick her up bridal style.

But then he changed his mind and swung her over his shoulder.

"What the fu-hey!! Put me down!!!"

He ignored her and continued walking, she was pounding his back with her fists, yelling profanities at him.

She kept doing so until she spotted something on the ground.

A corpse, and not only a corpse. Her boyfriend, Daniel. She froze as tears ran down her face, mixing with her blood.

Natsu furrowed his brows as she went limp.

What's the big deal? It's only a dead body-oh. She's probably never seen one before.

Of course she hasn't you stupid idiot!!

He sighed in frustration and decided to give her a break. He let her down and started to carry her bridal style.

She looked at him through glossy eyes. He blushed but made sure not to let it show.

She stuffed her face against his chest and continued to sob.

*TIME SKIP*

Lucy's crying had been reduced to small sniffles. Natsu was lighting a small fire to keep her warm. His leather jacket was already draped across her shoulders, leaving him in a white shirt that gave Lucy a fantastic view of his muscles.

"My name is Lucy" she blurted but then stuffed her face in his jacket from embarrassment.

He chuckled "I'm Natsu, can I call you Luce?"

She blushed but nodded.

He finished and sat down next to her, the glare of the flames against her skin made her look breathtakingly beautiful.

He shook his head and focused on the fire, he turned his head again to see Lucy had started crying...again!

Aw man!!

He tried comforting her but it seemed as if nothing was working.

And then he started hearing footsteps...
