You will learn why the title is like that in the future.

When Natsu and Lucy woke up it was already morning and there was a thick layer of snow on the ground. They were all sitting around the fire trying to keep warm.

It wasn't helping, Gray and Lucy's lips were starting to turn blue. They weren't used to survival. If they all wanted to make it through alive they were going to have to keep warm through the harsh cold.

Juvia let Gray have the blanket as she wrapped herself up in her leather jacket, it was the same for the other two.

But then something occurred to Gray, if I didn't set the bombs who did?

"That's the real question, isn't it?"

He looked at Lucy surprised, did I actually say that out loud?

"Yes you did"

He sighed. Gray turned to Juvia, hoping she would give some answers. She shifted under his gaze.

"I don't have to tell you" she muttered.

Gray turned back towards the fire, he didn't think she would speak anyways.

"His name is Zeref"

He glanced at her but kept quiet, hoping to get some information.

She was clearly uncomfortable, Gray doesn't think she has ever shared her past with anyone.

"He's an escaped bomber from prison, he only blows up large areas in the world. Nobody knows why but it had something to do with the chief of police, Mavis whatever-her-last-name-is." Juvia continued.

He nodded, it made sense. Sort of.

Wait, large areas? Then what about the police station?

Juvia started picking her black painted fingernails, "hehe, well-that was me. What?"

Gray was looking at her as if she was crazy.

"I needed to get out of prison so I did what I had to do" she said.

He thought about it than something came to mind, "who taught you how to make a bomb?"

She flinched. "That's a story for another time"

Ooookaay?...

Gray let it go but sent a questioning glance at Natsu, signaling he wanted answers. He nodded in return.

I'll tell you when the girls are asleep.

*WHEN GIRLS ARE ASLEEP*

"Natsu, I swear I won't tell her" Gray pleaded. He was dying to know Juvia's past relationship with this so-called Zeref.

Natsu sighed "alright"

"Before I met Juvia she used to be in a gang called 'Phantom Lord' with her stepbrother, I don't remember his name but he was scary as fuck"

He shivered while saying this.

Gray nodded, "aaaaand Zeref...?"

"Zeref was Juvia's...boss I guess you could say, he payed her and she would do the job"

"What kind of job?"

"Bombing, duh"

Gray took a deep breath, this was a lot to take in, so they used to be in a gang together while Zeref trained her to make bombs and go on jobs?

Wow, that's messed up.

"What stepbrother?" He asked, he was curious. Juvia didn't seem like the type who would have a family. Not to be rude or anything.

"As if I would know, although I do remember his girlfriend" Natsu said.

Gray wrapped his blanket tighter around him, it was getting colder by the day.

"What was his girlfriend like then?" Gray asked, gritting his teeth. He was starting to get annoyed.

"She owns a bookstore somewhere around here, I dunno"

What?

"As in, a place to stay?" Gray had his jaw open in shock.

"Um...yeah...?"

"NATSU!!!!!"

Natsu was surprised and jumped back, what's the deal with him??

"WE COULD BE WARM AND SHELTERED RIGHT NOW IF YOU HAD JUST TOLD US"

Oh...

"What's going on?" A feminine voice called from the front of the plane. Uh oh.

"Juvia! Um, we were just-"

"That was a rhetorical question idiot! Of course I could hear your obnoxious voice from two fucking meters away"

Natsu shut his mouth as Lucy giggled from behind her, both Juvia and Lucy had bonded a little over the few days they were together. But Juvia still didn't trust her, their relationship kind of reminded Gray of love rivals, funny right? As if that would ever happen. Hehehe.

"Anyways, let's go quickly before it gets to cold, not that it isn't already"

When that set off Gray started noticing a guilty expression on Juvia's face.

What if she had already known that-no! Of course she would have at least said something...right?

As they got farther away from the plane he could faintly see a small building-like structure up ahead. With all the debris surrounding it it looked like a mansion.

When they were almost at the front porch the door slammed open. A man in his twenties stood there, he had a large figure with long spiky black hair and red eyes that seemed to be glowing.

Juvia snarled.

"Gajeel..."
