AN: welcome to part two of Lovers!

For those of you still waiting for the Alexia Putellas story, I'm very sorry about the delay but this book has been my priority (and still is).

The story codenamed 'Green' was always supposed to act as a spinoff to this one, which means details of Alexia and Natalie's relationship will be touched on in this book, the conclusion of that will also be in this book since there will be some time skips.

And these first few chapters of Lovers heavily involves Alexia and Natalie.

Part Two

The first day in St. Moritz told the group that they were truly in for a memorable experience.

Mapi was downstairs and being told what to do by Matteo with all the prep work, and then the others joined later to watch and film her start up the yellow Ferrari 250 GTO and drive it out onto the ice where other cars were being prepped by their own teams.

Obviously, all of them were on team Ferrari, even Lucy avoided the Mercedes in favour of the red rearing horses. They had Ferrari platinum passes that got them through every door and mingling with drivers, polo players and snobby rich people who looked at them with an upturned nose.

But if those rich patriots look closer they'd see the physically sparkling passes around the groups necks, and they'd notice that one of them was Matteo Morelli's daughter.

When Mapi joined them in the tent where a lot of people were day drinking, she got one of these disapproving looks from an old woman wearing too much fur. It was because of her neck and hand tattoos; those were the only ones visible. She was even asked if she got the wrong tent, that the casual watchers are on the other side of the course.

But then Mapi gave a smile, and in her Spanish accent that disgusted the woman even more, she informed her that she was Kaia Morelli's fiancé. The name Morelli being uttered made the woman's face practically pale, and Mapi made her look even more ill by saying 'Matteo's daughter, do you know him?'

So when she joined the others at their table with a good view of the cars, Mapi's smile was smug and happy. She'll never be someone who flexes to put others down, but when old women who think they're better than everyone else stop her from entering a tent... she makes the exception.

The race was a little anxiety probing due to the fact it was racing on ice in fast cars, but none of them knew the drivers personally and could therefore watch with intrigue when two would get a little close for comfort.

Although when that standout-ish yellow Ferrari took its place on the starting line, Mapi felt personal investment and surprised Kaia by quickly putting some money on it to win.

They usually discuss betting and gambling since getting engaged.

Luckily the car did win, and Mapi almost choked on her mouthful of lunch when it passed the finish line only just in front of the green Aston Martin. She didn't win much, but she got her money back and then some. It put a prep in her step for exploring the village in the afternoon.

And exploring the village was incredible within itself; seeing all the different vehicles and fashion and buildings, trying new foods, overhearing all the conversations on the events that are coming up.
