Over the last six months or so, Louis Vuitton had been dropping pictures of the collaboration with Nike, some of Balde, others of Steph Catley and more of all the other Nike players.

Everyone involved had been to multiple shoots over the months that fit with their schedules, all of them were loving the range of clothes and promoting them themselves for the April launch show.

The most recent picture posted was of Kaia and Aitana on the streets of Barcelona, Aitana was sat up on a higher stone step of a townhouse, while Kaia was stood on a lower one and leaning on the stone banister.

The picture was posted with labels pointing to the special pieces they were wearing; Aitana's trainers and necklace, Kaia's jeans and top. And one of those labels lit a spark that began a wildfire.

Kaia sucked her thumb in her celebration last year against Real Madrid, Aitana rocked her arms, Mapi and Alexia had been seen separately getting breakfast with the same mystery woman, and dumb and dumber (Patri and Jill) went baby clothes shopping the day after finding out their friends were having a boy.

The fans could feel that there was a Barça baby on the way. They just didn't know who or how or when. Many guessed Frido because she was out with an injury and had a boyfriend, but then she made her comeback recently and that shot down all hopes in that.

Others thought maybe Irene's wife was having another baby, but that wasn't likely.

But Louis Vuitton posting this single picture and pointing out the mom jeans Kaia was wearing, it made her and Mapi the likely suspects to their conspiracy theorist fans.

So in turn that made going out and looking at cribs and bouncers a difficult challenge for Mapi and Kaia. They didn't want to order certain things online because they wanted to see and feel the quality and size for themselves, but it was risky.

That's why Mapi called her still injured (almost) brother-in-law and demanded him and his one year old baby come to Barcelona for the weekend purely so they could use Mia as an excuse for why they were in a baby shop.

Kaia thought the idea was funny but genius, plus she always wants to see Seb and Mia or any family.

Sebastian actually had some good ideas and reliable brands to recommend to them, happy to potter around baby shops with Mapi holding and cooing at Mia who naturally adored everything she did. 

"We don't want dummies, do we?" Mapi recalls as she picks up a four pack of nice teething toys which includes a rubber pacifier.

Both Morelli's shake their heads, and Mapi nods in acceptance and puts the packet back. She had a dummy when she was a baby; but from what Kaia told her, it's bad for teeth alignment and promotes ear infections with the constant sucking and build up of pressure.

She's fine with their baby having straight teeth and better health.

"This is all so overwhelming." Kaia sighs as she lowers the endless list thats on her phone.

"Which is why we're shopping now." Sebastian reminds her calmly. "Do it little by little. Get the things to baby proof your flat, get his crib, make sure there's a full chest of drawers cleared out for all the clothes, map out where you want things like his play area or his high chair in the kitchen... just take it one step at a time." 

Mapi walked over in Sebastian's listing of things, listening intently and even happier she asked him to come with them. "His play area can go where the Christmas tree usually goes near the TV." She suggests. "We'll be in the house before December anyway."

"Yeah... yeah." Kaia nods slowly, picturing it and liking it. "And his crib is going to go in our room, on your side of the bed, right?" She double checks and Mapi nods. "And his clothes in the spare bedroom drawers."
