Minji's Point Of view

"What?" Hanni asked, chuckling. see? cause it's embarrassing!!

"Why do you want me to say it again? I said I am jealous of you and Jay." I don't get a response from her, this is so embarrassing.

She stayed in silence, there's no anger, happiness or what, you can't see emotion on her face she's just staring at me blankly. I was about to ask her when she laughed really loud, what's wrong with this girl? She's laughing while I am so Jealous here?

"What's funny about my jealousy Pham Hanni?" She wiped her tears trying to prevent from laughing.

I'm starting to get annoyed but what she did next makes me warm again. She hugged me and rested her head on my shoulder but I can feel that she's still laughing, I am about to forgive her but what's with the laugh again?

"I know, you're making fun of me Hanni."

"Sorry, I can't help it. You're cute when you are jealous." She giggled, Cute? Cute is for dogs only.

She pulled from our hug and pinched both of my cheeks. "I told you before that Jay is my past now, right? So you jealous big baby, don't be jealous alright? We are just friends, nothing more. I just felt that this is all fine for you because you agreed when I asked you if Jay and I can be friends.”

"What would you expect me to answer? You already said yes to him."

"So you are not fine with that?"

"Yes, I thought it'll be fine but damn it's making me jealous." She stifled a laugh again so I just lowered my head.

"Why don't you say it in the first place so I can avoid him? From now on I will keep my distance from him."

She pulled me for another hug again, It's fine to be selfish for once right? I will be selfish when it comes to my girl, Mine is mine.

It feels so good knowing that she will distance herself from Jay just for me? I am too, I'm willing to do anything for her, except for one: to let her go, I will never allow that to happen, I'm keeping my promise. Mark my words.

Days passed happily, I can see that Hanni was really distancing herself from Jay, she really made that serious. For that my gut can

calm now.

We are sitting now in the student lounge when our two flirt classmates sat beside us. I thought they were just going to sit or just talk to us. I didn't know they were here to hear gossip. Girls.

"Hanni, you and Jay are friends right?" Girl 1 asked.

Hanni looked at me before saying.

"Acquaintance, why?"

"Do y'all notice that he's not attending class anymore? Do you know why?" That's the girl number 2.

"We are not having a conversation, so I don't know." I can sense that Hanni is now uncomfortable.

"Do you atleast have his number?"

Hanni doesn't answer her question, she's just quietly looking at nowhere, I know that she has no plan on answering these two flirts here, so I just answer them for her

"What do you both want? They are not close so no ladies she doesn't have his number"

"Okay fine, if nothing then nothing grumpy, if we didn't get Jay's number, maybe I can get yours instead?" Girl 1 said seductively. This will not end well. I swear to God.

"I'm not answering a text except when it is from MY GIRL. So it's gonna be nonsense if I give you mine.”

"There's this thing called calling if you didn't know." She's literally trying to flirt with me in front of my girlfriend, like damn she better shut up now.

"So you are planning to call her?" Hanni answered this time. Her calm face earlier changed to a grouchy once, she had her left eyebrow lift.

"Yes obviously, so you know when you two broke up th-"

"Do you see she has a girlfriend right? Then you are trying to flirt with her in front of me? Are you out of your damn mind? And what broke up? Your ass better get out of this place or I will violently break your necks" The two girls rolled their eyes and finally walked away.

I can't help but to laugh, geez she's scary bro. "And you, why are you laughing? Want me to break your neck too?"

I cleared my throat and faked a smile. "No ma'am, I'm good."

She smiled before saying. "Good."

Scary.

I am now walking alone in our university corridor since Hanni said she will head first to our class cause she has something to do so I let her.

I continued to walk when I saw two familiar figures talking to a vacant room, Jay and Hanni. I was about to go inside but I stopped myself and just continued walking back to our room. I don't want to disturb something.

I sat on my usual seat thinking about what I saw. After a couple of minutes, Hanni finally walks inside with a serious face.

When she sat down I immediately greeted her.

"Hey."

But instead of answering she just smiled. "Where did you go? I thought you were heading here early to fix something?"

"Ah.. I went to the library because Seulgi informed me to bring the book back cause she will not attend class." I just nod to her lie. Why'd she need to lie to me? Like why the fuck did she lie?

I was surprised when Jay entered our room with a damn smile on his motherfucking face. He sat down on his chair and what surprised me even more when Hanni looked back at him and said,

"Tell me if you need anything." Jay just nodded.

What the actual fuck? I want to punch him in front of Hanni. This is stressing me out, I'm being paranoid again.

The day has passed again and they're getting closer, should I be worried about this? Like the fuck she told me that she will distance herself.

We are now heading to her house so I can drop her, the ride is full of silence until we reach her house. I can't hold this anymore, damn. "Hanni, tell me why you two getting fucking closer again?!" I said madness was evident in my voice.

"That was just a coincidence." She said plainly.

"Damn Hanni, Coincidence? What the hell is that excuse? Coincidence? everyday at the cafeteria? even talking? That's just a coincidence? Oh c'mon Pham Hanni." I said Sarcastically.

"Minji I'm tired, please not now." She said in her non expression voice before leaving me inside the car.

"AHHHH DAMN IT!" I punch the steering wheel in front of me to release my anger.

Everyday that's our routine, We will fight because of Jay then back to normal then fucking fight again, this is not what I want to happen in our relationship.

I went to their house then Danielle opened the door telling me to go upstairs cause Hanni is in there so I obeyed. When I went to her room I was planning to scare her but then I saw her busy using her laptop, oh she's talking to someone in Dm I guess.

I walk near her trying to see who she is talking to. It's Jay, I want to throw away her laptop when I see that she's talking to her stupid dumb ex. She felt my presence, that's why she looked back at me.

"Minji....”

"Why?" I said in furious, I can't help it, that boy is getting into my nerves

"W-what?" She looks so guilty

"Why the fuck you are talking to him?" I don't want to have a fight with her, I really don't want that to happen but damn shit I am here now really triggered by what I saw.

"Can we talk downstairs?" I can see the tears stream down her cheeks.

I walked behind her and we went to their garden, our safe haven. She lowered her head and still couldn't look directly into my eyes. I was about to ask her when she said something that made me stiff.

"Minji, I'm done with this.”
