[fight pit]

[olivia, mandy and ian are watching as lip is fighting another guy in what looks like a fighting ring]

ref: to your corners.

[mandy, ian and olivia walk over to lip]

ian: You know you're supposed to hit him back, right?

lip: fuck, that kid hits hard.

olivia: What did you think this was going to be?

lip: I didn't think he could punch me with a foot. You see that? He kicked me in the top of my goddam head.

ian: Listen, look at me. You want to throw in the towel?

Man: Round two (Clanging)

lip: I would if I was smart.

[lip then gets back up to fighting] 

(Cheering)

[later]

[olivia, mandy, ian and lip who has cash in his hands are walking out of the arena]

mandy: How the hell did that little guy kick Kurt-fucking-Landis' ass?

lip: We make anything on my fight? Thanks, Rasmik!

ian: Nah, nobody wanted the odds.

lip: What'd you put down? On the fight you lost?

ian: Nada. Fraternal loyalty doesn't extend to stupidity, bud.

olivia: So, Mickey's out soon, yeah?

mandy: In about a week or so if he doesn't stab anybody else.

[olivia then sends her a look]

mandy: Plastic fork--Barely broke the kid's skin, but it bought him another 30 days.

lip: You got to be looking forward to having Mickey home again, huh?

mandy: I guess.

lip: Hey, I want to stage another fight night next week. Go around to the Dojos, round up some more scrappers, all right?

ian: Sure. Where you going?

lip: Karen's.

olivia: Thought you gave up on that. See ya.

ian: Yeah.

mandy: Karen Jackson? After that thing with your dad?

ian: I'm sneaking antibiotics into his toothpaste, just in case.

[the three then playfully push one another and olivia jumps on ian's back as he gives her a piggyback and three laugh on their walk home]

[later]

[gallagher house]

[olivia and ian are eating burgers and fries with milkshakes]

olivia: this...is awesome..

ian: you only say that after we smoke two blunts

[olivia then chuckles]

ian: so...how are you doing since thomas left...

olivia: i'm fine...i mean....i thought i would be more upset...but...im ok....

ian: well...if you need to let it out or cry...its ok...i know how much you cared about him

olivia: i know...and i'm fine...i had my time...to grief...over the relationship...and its done....
