[sarah and olivia are outside tanning and see a van pull up to the gallagher house]

sarah: who is that

[olivia shrugs her shoulders and sees granny gallagher]

olivia: ooh...its frank's mother

sarah: you met her...

olivia: yeah when me , lip and ian tried to find out who ian's biological dad was....

[granny gallagher then looks over to olivia and sarah]

granny: well well...i remember you...you came with lip and ian....they are good looking boys...i hope you come around and decide to date lip...

[olivia then nods her head as she head inside the gallagher house]

[later]

[olivia is having a cigarette at the docks and sees lip]

olivia: hey...i see your grandma's back

lip: yeah...

olivia: apparently...she thinks we would be a good couple

lip: [chuckles] sounds like her...

olivia: you and ian still on the outs

[she hands him the cigarette]

lip: yeah...i try to talk to him...but he acts as if i'm not there....tell me when you and ian had a fight...what did you do...when he gave you the silent treatment

olivia: yeah...me and ian never got that far when it came to arguments...

lip: are you kidding...you guys have been best friends since you were wearing diapers...you telling me he...never gave you the silent treatment

olivia: no...but...best thing i can offer...is ...don't give up....

[lip then nods his head as olivia smiles at him]

[olivia is eating a candy bar while ian stands behind the counter]

ian: those will rot your teeth...you know

olivia: yea...but...totally worth it...plus...i love these.....you know who else loves these....

ian: don't say it...

olivia: c'mon...he's your brother....i'm sure this whole westpoint...thing...is a misunderstanding...

ian: livvy...

olivia: listen...i understand...you're upset about this whole westpoint application...and if i were in your shoes i would be angry too....but as you're best friend....i feel like you should let it go....he's your family ian....do you really want to go through your life...holding this grudge against him....life is short...you know...be the bigger person....

[before ian can answer lip walks in]

olivia: perfect...timing...ian...is there something you want to say to lip...

[ian then stays quiet and goes back to looking at his magazine...ignoring lip and olivia gives lip a sympathetic look and mouths "i tried"]

lip: Grammy's back. Just showed up, in an ambulance. You know, she, uh... she didn't even call. How fucked-up is that, huh? That's it? Nothing? You just gonna give me the chin? How about now?

[lip then starts breaking things around the store]

olivia: woah...

lip: No? Really? Still nothing? No?!

[lip then storms off as olivia looks at ian with disbelief]
