[ian and olivia are walking towards his work while ian is on his phone]

ian: All right, Mandy, third try. Look, I'm really bad at taking hints, so I'll hit double digits if you don't call me back. Look, I need you to get your dad to back off.

olivia: uh...ian

[the two then look at kash's store and see the windows smashed and go inside and see the store trashed]

olivia: i think...we should move...far...far ..away

ian: you think...i just don't get why mandy isn't calling me back...has she called you

olivia: i tried..no luck...

ian: i'm so screwed....

[later]

[olivia and ian are cleaning up the store]

ian: you don't have to help...

olivia: please...i don't mind...besides...your my best friend...your bullshit is my bullshit...

[ian then sends her a smile and lip walks in]

lip: The skinheads again?

ian: Mandy's dad heard the news.

lip: You and Mickey?

olivia: Mandy-- pregnant.

lip: Oh. Well, congratulations. I didn't know you switched teams.

[olivia then sends him a look]

ian: Yeah.

lip: Or was it just a late night-- stuck it in the wrong Milkovich?

olivia: lip...

lip: just a joke...livvy...

ian: He told Linda he's gonna put my feet in that meat slicer, work his way up.

lip: Linda call the cops?

ian: Think she wants the place firebombed?

olivia: Huh.

lip: Mandy say whose it is?

ian: Won't call me ..or livvy....back.

lip: Try checking the school.

ian: Yeah, Linda assured me that if I leave the place how it is, then I'm gonna be out of a job

olivia: anyway, she's not going to be there. She usually goes into hiding until her dad cools off.

lip: Spider hole in Tikrit?

olivia: Relatives on South Justine. Went by, but her aunt wouldn't let me in.

ian: How's the homeless shelter?

lip: On the 14th floor of the Ritz, so not bad. Staying with Steve. Great view.

olivia: Skyline?

lip: That, too.

ian: Ah, right, Steve's wife.

olivia: Surprised you can still lift that arm.

[lip then takes some cigarettes ]

ian: That's gonna come out of my pay.

lip: Relax. [handing ian some money] Got to go meet Steve. Try not to knock up any more chicks while I'm gone, all right?
