Meeting the Kelce's

Travis, Taylor and Aspyn drove to Travis's brother's house in the car. This trip had been a long time coming; it had been discussed after Aspyn met Travis for the first time. Ultimately, after Christmas seemed the best time for everyone to meet as things started to slow down a bit. So much planning had gone into deciding where Travis's family, Travis, Taylor and Aspyn, would meet. Still, in the end, it was decided that going to Jason and Kylie's would be the best option as they had three young children, and travelling would be a lot with two toddlers and a baby. Both Travis's parents will be coming as well.

"How are you feeling, Aspyn?" Travis asked as he looked in the mirror to see Aspyn staring out the window, watching the world go by.

"I'm good, Travis," Penny replied, smiling at her mom's boyfriend and then at her mom, who looked back at her daughter.

"You know, Jason and Kylie's girls are excited to meet you, Penny," Travis explained, knowing from Taylor that Aspyn has been nervous about meeting Travis's family.

Aspyn stared out the window for a bit longer until they pulled up in front of Jason and Kylie's home. Aspyn took notice of a dog lying on the front porch of the house; the dog was big, similar to her grandma's Great Dane, Kitty. She then noticed a man walking out of the front door with a baby in his arms, whom Aspyn assumed was Bennett. Over the last few weeks, Aspyn has talked to Travis about his family. She knew Travis had an older brother named Jason, a sister-in-law called Kylie, and three nieces: Wyatt, Elliotte, and Bennett. She knew that his mom was called Donna and his dad was called Ed. Aspyn knew that her mom had met both of Travis's parent and that they had known about her, which was nice to know that both Travis and her mom had spoken to them about her.

"There's Jace," Travis said as he parked the car. He smiled at Taylor, who returned it instantly and finally turned to Aspyn, looking out the window. "You ready, girly?"

Aspyn nodded and then waited until Travis and her mom got out of the car; she then took her mom's hand while Travis grabbed their bags out of the car's trunk. Suddenly, a little girl with blonde pigtails came running down the steps; Aspyn assumed it was Wyatt just because she looked older than the little girl who followed her out the door.

"UNCLE TRAV!" Both girls yelled as they ran to their uncle. Taylor Laughed as she watched her boyfriend scoop the little girls up and spin them around before placing them back on the ground. Wyatt and Elliotte then looked over at Aspyn and Taylor, and both girls smiled.

"Hi! I'm Ellie!" the more petite girl smiled at the two blondes. Taylor looked at the little girl and noted that Elliotte looked much like the baby pictures she had seen of Travis.

"I'm Wyatt!" the oldest of the girls smiled; she then turned to Aspyn and smiled, "What's your name?"

Aspyn looked at her mom for reassurance before answering.

"Aspyn, but my mama calls me Penny."

"Do you want to play Barbie and dinosaurs with us?" Wyatt asked, seeming excited that she and Ellie had someone else to play with.

Aspyn looked between her mom and Travis, both giving her a nod and smiling to reassure her.

"Okay," Aspyn replied, causing Ellie and Wyatt to grab her hands and pull her into the house where they had left their Barbies and dinosaurs.

Jason had walked over and smiled at his girls' interaction with Taylor's daughter.

"Hey, Trav, Taylor," Jason smiled at the two adults who had just watched the same interaction.
