Aspyn: 15-years-old
August: 3-Years-old
Birdie: 3-years-oldEver since Aspyn was little she was singing, she would follow her mom around singing whatever songs that came to mind. Taylor could tell that her daughter loved music, so she put her in singing lessons and then piano and guitar followed shortly after, but still kept an eye on her daughter and listened to the girls requests. Following the young girls lead, wanting Aspyn to find her own passions. By the time Aspyn was fifteen she was constantly singing around the house, and if she wasn't singing she would be humming or taping her fingers as if she was playing the piano. Music seemed to be something she truly loved.
In September, just a few weeks before Aspyn's birthday, Taylor and Travis went to Aspyn with a request from Andy Reid. He had asked Travis and Taylor if Aspyn would be interested in singing the national anthem before one of the games in the up coming season; Travis and Taylor had discussed it at length, both of them coming to the decision that if it was something that Aspyn would like to do then they would let her do it.

"Aspyn, could you come here please?" Taylor called up the stairs to her oldest daughter who was currently in her room, before moving back into the kitchen where Travis currently was sitting at the breakfast bar, with a cup of coffee in his hands.
"Coming!" Aspyn called back a second later, before she began running down the stairs, before making her way into the kitchen. "Is everything okay?"
"Yes, everything is okay baby girl. Your dad and I just wanted to talk to you about something." Taylor explained chucking slightly at her daughter.
"Okay so... what is it you wanted to talk to me about then?" Aspyn asked, moving to sit up at the breakfast bar next to her dad, who placed a kiss on the side of her head before he stood up and walked over to the coffee machine and pored himself and both Taylor and Aspyn some as well, knowing that they both would drink coffee now too.
Taylor looked over at Travis who gave her a nod, telling her she could start the conversation with their oldest.
"So, Coach Reid had asked dad if you would like to sing the national anthem at one of your dads games this season." Taylor began to explain, thanking Travis for the coffee and then continuing on talking, "Now you don't have too if you don't want to baby, but if it is something you would like to do then both your dad and I are more then happy to let you do it. It is up to you and you are in control of the situation."
"Why did Mr Reid ask if I wanted to sing the national anthem? I don't really sing in front of anyone."
Travis laughed, hearing his daughter call Andy 'Mr Reid', while it wasn't an un common thing it never failed to make him laugh. Andy Reid, had always told Aspyn that she didn't have to call him Coach Reid or Mr Reid or Mr Andy, all of which had been used by Aspyn at one point or another since she first met him, but she still constantly used the them. The football coach finding it endearing as time went on it also reminded the older man of when he had met Taylor when she was younger, the blonde singer having done the same thing when she was little.
