January 13th, 2042

Birdie and August walked into the house; both girls could hear their parents, sister and brother-in-law talking in the kitchen. August took her shoes off before making her way into the kitchen, not bothering to take her coat off, while va Birdie hung her jacket up before putting her shoes away. Birdie slowly made her way into the kitchen; Aspyn was the first one to notice that her youngest sister had entered the room.

"Hi Birdie," Aspyn smiled, making her way over to hug her sister, Birdie leaned into the embrace of her older sister, taking a moment to enjoy the hug. Birdie had missed Aspyn, especially since she and her husband had moved to New York a few months ago, leaving the rest of the Family in Kansas City.

"Hi, Pen." Birdie whispered back, just quiet enough so only Aspyn could hear.

Aspyn was the one to pull back, but she still kept an arm around her sisters shoulders. Taylor and Travis smiled Birdie and Aspyn, both of them knowing that they were very close. All three of the girls were incredibly close despite the age gap, all of them having a different but special bond with one another. The twins always seemed to have an understanding of one another that no one else ever seemed to understand, both of them seeming to be the others biggest supporter however they had their moment where they would fight like cats and dogs. August and Aspyn had a relationship was an odd one, both girls being so incredibly similar but also incredibly different at the same time, in a similar way to their mother, both Aspyn and Auggie had an affinity for writing, but both girls were very head strong and if one thought they were right they would argue to the ends of the earth. Aspyn's relationship with Birdie was one that would always be classed as very protective, Birdie had always been the quietest of her sister and for a long time would struggle to stand up for herself, Aspyn was usually the first one on the front line to protect her little sister followed behind by her other sister and her parents.

Aspyn's husband, Noah, smiled at Birdie after giving August a hug, both of the twins both liked Noah which was probably attributed to the fact that they have known Noah since they were little as both Aspyn and Noah had known one another since they were sixteen; while the pair had met at sixteen they hadn't begun dating until they were in their twenties.

"Did you have a good day, Buggy?" Travis asked, smiling at the young blonde. Both the twins were a mix of their parents, Auggie looked more like Taylor in the face but she had her fathers straight dark brown hair where as Birdie looked more like her dad, sharing a lot of the same facial fetchers the only thing that was different from her and her dad was the fact that she had seemed to inherit Taylor's curly blonde hair. Both of the twins were the perfect combination of their parents.

Birdie just gave a small nod in return to her dad, not feeling up to talking at the moment, which wasn't uncommon after she had been at school all day. It was something that Taylor and Travis had realised early on, Birdie seemed to be struggle a lot after a long day of being around people, whether it was people at school or just her family, she seemed to have trouble after a while. When she was little, she would often struggle to regulate herself and her emotions after a while. Now that she was older, it seemed as though she was just start to shut down after a while. Taylor and Travis had learned the best ways to support her after a while of navigating the situation that they were delt.

"I'm going to go upstairs." Birdie said, loud enough for everyone to hear before moving out of Aspyn's embrace and making her way up to her room, making sure to grab her backpack so she could get started on her homework.
