"Thank you," said Raiden as the blonde flight attendant strolled by to collect his headphones before conveniently dropping it on the ground. As she reached forward, her unbuttoned blouse sagged forward, offering him a glimpse of her red bra and full cleavage underneath.

"Sorry," she muttered with all the conviction of the stowaway tray as she smiled and winked at him before making her way down the aisle. Raiden rolled his eyes and turned over to Iona to wake her. Maggie was going to pay for this - when Mike and him insisted that they take the company jet, Maggie refused.

Instead, she said that flying in economy class would help them stay grounded or whatever. Raiden did not work his butt off to fly economy. No matter. They were on vacation. Best to just enjoy the moment. Plus, he had Bali to look forward to and he was going to spend it with the love of his life and his best friend along with his fiancee. It was starting to look like the end of a chick-flick.

As soon as they cleared customs, they were on the next cab out to the resort that Maggie had booked. "Looks like she's not exactly used to flying, huh?" Mike commented as Iona dozed off not long after they loaded their luggage in. Maggie, with full knowledge of Iona's love for flying as a bird, chuckled. Raiden just told them that she had a long night before - a comment which drew a louder reaction from both Mike and Maggie.

The resort was unlike any other. In fact, it wasn't even considered a resort in the first place. As soon as the taxi dropped the four of them off by a pier, they were escorted on a boat not far out into the water whereby several bungalows sat on stilts in the middle of a never-ending sea of turqoise.

Added conveniences such as a bar, restaurants and clubs were scattered around said private bungalows - guests were welcomed to make their around either via a 24/7 boat service, jet ski or just by simply jumping in and swimming to wherever their hearts took them.

"Holy shit!" said Raiden. A sentiment echoed by Mike and Iona. "Told you it'd be worth it, right?!" squealed Maggie as they alighted from the boat and stepped up to the front door of their private chalet. When Iona threw her luggage over, their escort waved furiously and called out in Balinese. Within seconds, he caught himself and switched to English. "Ma'am, your room is there!"

He was pointing to another bungalow about half a minute's swim away. "Oh! I'm so sorry! Sorry!" Iona said as she hoisted her bags back onboard. Raiden clambered back on, as well. "You thought you guys were crashing with us? What is this? Some sort of twisted foursome holiday?!" Mike yelled as the boat pulled away. Maggie was pink from laughter. "Give us a minute to sort ourselves out! We'll be with you in a bit!" she said between breaths.

As they pulled away towards their private residence for the next few days, Raiden swung his arm over to embrace Iona before planting a light peck on her lips. The escort, now smiling, asked them if they were the ones getting married. "Hah! That would be the other noisier couple," said Iona. "You never know, your time might be sooner than you think," commented the escort as he winked at Raiden.

Before he could say anything, they were at the front door. Unloading the luggage and swinging the door open revealed an interior to rival that of the finest layouts Raiden had come across. A large, airy, sunlit room was decked out with the most minimal of accessories to allow the occupants an almost interrupted view of the sea around them. In the middle, a king-sized bed was to be found while a smaller door led to the shower and toilet.

Iona let out a gasp as she took in the sights of the room. The shower itself had no roof, allowing guests to clean themselves under plentiful amounts of sunlight or a blanket of stars. "This is... just. Wow." After tipping the escort, Raiden turned round and collapsed onto the bed, feeling his body sink in just a couple of inches.
