The following morning saw Iona awake in her bed and staring into the space above - despite seeing all of what the shapeshifters were capable of, she still had trouble processing the very fact that she had met not one but five of them.

What was supposed to have been a nice, relaxing getaway for the whole lot of them turned out to be an eye-opening experience for Iona, and to a certain extent, Raiden. Of course, Maggie would be informed of it as soon as it was possible.

That'll have to wait for now since she's probably enjoying her time with Mike, Iona thought to herself.

When the water from the bathroom stopped running, Iona sat up and waited for Raiden to emerge. The latter had stirred from his slumber earlier on.

"Good morning, honey," she beamed at him as soon as he stepped out.

"Good morning to you too, love," he said as pulled on his clothes. "You know, I can't seem to get over how Jen was able to... you know, change herself like that."

"I know. I can shapeshift myself but not to that extent! Gosh! She might as well be Supergirl!" Iona exclaimed. The conversation revolved around Jen's abilities for much of the remaining time the two of them were together until Maggie and Mike came into view as they were taking a stroll on the beach.

"Hey you! Missed you guys at breakfast this morning. Had more interesting things to do, I assume?" Maggie asked with a hint of playfulness. "Don't blame you, though. It is, after all, our last day here."

The meeting between Raiden, Iona, Aaliyah, Sara, Rachel, Michelle and Henry last night had shocked them so much so that they had completely lost track of their schedule. Suddenly, Iona felt a sharp sense of belonging to this place. Maybe it was the beauty and tranquility of the island, maybe it was because she had finally found individuals who miraculously possessed the same ability as her to turn into living, breathing animals.

No matter, best not to dwell on it. As much as she wanted to stay, Iona knew deep down that it would be asking too much of Raiden - for him to pack up and abandon his work, his friends, and settle down in another foreign country.

The four of them decided to enjoy their final day in paradise by snorkelling through the reef. In fact, there was no better alternative to capture the spirit of Bali as they weaved through a myriad of corals and schools of fishes, both large and small. When they surfaced for a break, Raiden saw the smirk on Iona's face when he looked in her direction.

He knew from her wink and smile that she would want to experience life in the water as one of the sea creatures themselves before they left - and that she wanted him to be there with her. To watch her take the shape of something relatively alien from the other canine, feline or avian shapes she so often fancied.

That would be one heck of a sight for him to witness. Not that Iona was failing to attract his attention now - far from it. When she emerged from the changing room clad in a baby blue bikini, it wasn't only his head that spun in her direction. Much to his chagrin, a couple of men in the vicinity made no effort to conceal their appreciation for her body.

Her dirty blonde hair flowed freely around her face. Her formerly pale skin now held a light brown sheen to it thanks to the abundance of sunlight while her freckles seemed all the more obvious on her face and shoulders now. The overall effect had caused her to look even more like the long-lost twin sister of a certain British actress who portrayed Hermione in the Harry Potter films.

The similarities would end there, however. While the actress had a relatively modest body shape, Iona was gifted with more curves. Not extravagantly so but her breasts swelled to a pleasing shape with just enough cleavage to draw wandering eyes while her hips flared ever so slightly. Her butt, on the other hand, was more than eye-catching.
