I ran as fast as I could. I ended up running to the park since it was closer to me than the Curtis's house. I looked back and this time it was the guy chasing me, not the car. He easily caught up to me due to the fact that I was tired and he was just driving.

He shoved me to the ground. I tried escaping his grasp once again but he didn't budge one bit. He looked mad. He pulled out a blade and put it against my face. If I wasn't scared before, I sure as hell was now. I didn't think I was gonna get attacked today.

I yelled as loud as I possibly could, " DARRY!" I thought maybe he could hear me but it wasn't likely. I knew he was home because he comes home at noon.

"SHUT IT YOU BRAT!" He yelled in my face.

I was crying now. I hated being yelled at.
"HELP ME PLEASE!" I cried hoping someone would help. But no one came.

Soda's POV

I was on my way home from work with Steve when we saw a guy at the park hovering over a girl.

"Steve look." I hit his shoulder making him turn to look at the pair on the floor.

" Is she screaming or moaning?" He asked laughing

"Shhhh wait." I quickly hit him again trying to listen to what was going on. As we got closer the clearer I could hear.

"GET OFF!" "HELP ME PLEASE!"

I recognized that voice instantly. I ran towards the pair leaving a confused Steve to run after me.

"Soda what's up man?" Steve asked running behind me.

I reached the guy and pushed him off Y/n. Bob. I grabbed Y/n and hugged her. Steve had started beating the hell out of Bob. He then stopped and rushed towards me and Y/n.

"Hey Y/n you okay? I've got you you're safe alright. You're okay." I said trying to comfort her. She was crying and hugging me very tightly. I knew she was scared.

I gently picked her up and we made our way to my house. Steve had already threatened Bob so I just ignored his presence on the ground.

"Soda...he put a blade to my face." She began crying again.
"I was scared. What was he gonna do to me?"

"I don't know but you're okay. I've got you. Just try to think of something else. We're almost there." I said softly trying to be comforting.

I looked at Steve and he looked just as concerned as me.
