We reached a nicely built house, If its even a house. Though judging from the many vines that climbs the concrete posts, and the unending flower beds and lotus covered swamp, this place, appears more of a garden than a house. A huge garden.
A guard greeted us outside, but as sudden as he came, he disappeared. Leaving us to venture on our own.
"Are you sure this is the place?" Erza asked Lucy as she gazed at Jellal's back.
"Its where the directions led us and there was an address at the gate, surely that guard wont let us in, if this isnt the place." Lucy shrugged, as her gaze followed Natsu's exploring form. His amused expression on every seen flower clearly visible as he plucked one after the other. It wasnt long until he had an armful of full bloomed buds, which he shoved at Lucy's beet red face.
While Erza stared at the flowers longingly. Unaware that Jella had pulled the most bloomed lotus in the swamp, along with the roots and is now walking softly behind her back to create a surprise. The waters dripping off the roots clearly unnoticed.
But before he could shove it at Erza's face, did the Guard that met us outside came jogging towards us. The result? The water from the lotus came drippling down Erza's face. I expected her to get mad, but she just breathed deeply to calm her nerves. Flashing a smile at Jellal's nervous face in the process.
"Sorry for the negligence. Please follow me, the masters are waiting at the porch." He breathed softly as he turned his back on us, signaling us to follow him. To our surprise, he went straight into the thick trees we once thought as a forest.
"Uhm, dont you think thats a little creepy. What if he slaughter us there? Theres not much houses here dont you see?" Lucys voice reached our ears, her fear visible in every word that escaped her lips.
"Nonsense! Lets follow him. I know the guy can be trusted" Erza boomed as she started towards the thick trees. Pulling Jellal behind like a stuffed dog.
"How does she know? We just met him in like 2 hours ago" Lucy muttered to herself, as she literally dragged her shaking form under the thick roof of canopy.
