Iroh's Narration:
This story is not about how the avatar master of all 4 elements brought peace to the world but rather how he brought peace to Azula's heart.
The story starts when the avatar and his friends are about to gather at the firelord Zuko's Palace after five years. The avatar has become a lot of mature, and so has his friends become.
Avatar Aang Pov:
"Appa, it been long right since we came to the Palace. Have not seen Katara or Zuko or even toph. It gonna be so fun. (As soon as the avatar reaches the Palace, he lets appa stay at a place only made for him by zuko and sets off to meet Zuko. On his way, our 17 year old young avatar meets a similar face.) Azula...( who turns her face and greets the avatar in a very normal way) "I greet the avatar. Shall I guide you to my brother? " Yes, thank you in advance. (She nods and soon begins to take me to zuko. She looks different, much sane. Much beautiful. What am I thinking? )
"Mr. Avatar, this way you will find my brother. I hope you have a good time." Princess Azula, I hope we meet again. (As I say this, I look at her face she is stunned, and so am I. I go in to find zuko welcoming me with a hug") "Student Aang, seeing you after years brings back memories, don't they" Yeah Master Zuko, it does. "Did you have lunch? Should I ask them to bring you something?" I am a month early because I had something to discuss with you. One is what happened 2 summers ago and second what I saw near the northern water tribe.
"Ummm, two summers ago... How did you find out? No one knows, and I am sorry I was drunk. Katara was drunk. It just happened. I am sorry, Aang. I am a bad friend." Zuko, whatever happened, it got nothing to do with me. Me and katara broke up years ago, and we are good friends now, but you should have told me, and to be honest, I would have supported you. Now, too, I believe you guys are dating, right? "Yes... we are. You go with Druk to the southern water tribe to meet her, right? "Yes, Aang. I promise you I will love her to the moon and back. I will keep her safe. " You better do that.
The second thing I wanted to talk about was what I saw near the northern water tribe. I saw blood benders. "What blood benders..." Yeah, exiled water benders from north and south are learning blood bending there. We need to take action. " I will send some of my people to get more information, don't worry."
Another thing I saw was Azula. "Yeah, she is my advisor and right hand now. She got better. She is taking little steps towards the future. I am so happy for her. Like what brainwashing my father did and what she suffered mentally is something I wish no one goes through that, and I ask forgiveness from you for what happened in the earth kingdom. "
Zuko, whatever happened, it's in the past now. "She wanted to apologize to you, so if you have dinner with her, it would mean a lot to her. If that's okay?"
Yeah, sure, I will have dinner with her.
"That's wonderful. I will ask the servants to prepare dinner for you two for today. "
Okay, I will take my leave. (I was then guided to my room by zuko's attendants. As i put my stuff down. I think of how it didn't feel anything when he told me that katara and zuko were dating. It felt pretty okay to him. He neither felt bad nor like anger or any kind of jealousy. He just felt katara should have told her as he wrote many letters to her. Soon, it was time for dinner, and he had to go see Azula for dinner. He thought Zuko would be there as well, but...)
Azula Pov:
"Azula, you should have dinner with Aang alone." Why, Zuzu? Still feel bad about what happened 2 summers ago or what is happening right now? You told me he forgive you. "He did, Azula, but right now, I don't wanna see eye to eye." Grow up, Zuzu, when you were doing it with katara, you should have known she was his girlfriend, and now that he has declared no bad blood, why make it. "Just do what I ask Azula" ("Azula, you must capture your brother." I hear an echo of what my father said, and suddenly I can't breathe) " Azula, are you okay. Look at me. Here drink water"(I quickly drink the water what my brother gave me) I..I told.you to.. to.. not call.. call.. me, Azula, when you assign me some work. (It took me a minute to regain control over my body.) I will take my leave ZuZu. "LuLu, thank you for your service." (I nod and start to prepare for the dinner with avatar, the man I once vowed to kill and at one point did)
