Okay, when Crowley said that he'd get it done quick, they thought that it would take him a good couple of days to complete it.

Not have it done for the next day.

Gale was woken up from that strange dream again, the girl was on trial, the queen vied to have her head. It was crazy.

They were given the news that the paperwork had all been completed.

'Why couldn't he be like this when searching for ways to get us back...?' Perci couldn't help but think to herself as she tiredly pulled her uniform on.

"Hey, Perci! Ah, good, you're already up." Grim was more excited for the day to begin than he was the last couple of days, not surprising for him to be hyped for the fight.

"Today's the big duel! Let's DO this thing." Ace exclaimed confidently.

"Don't forget the plan, guys." Gale stated sternly, and Ace rolled his eyes. "Yeah, yeah, 'no doing stupid stuff' got it."

Perci hummed as Gale made eye contact with her.

Right, their plan.

She patted the Pokeballs in her bag and gave her sister a curt nod, a gesture that was quickly returned before the group all left for Heartslabyul.

Perci could feel the Pokeballs all rattle in her bag, and she could tell that Gardevoir was getting restless, and the Embrace Pokemon always gets when her trainer is agitated.

"Oh boy, here we go..." Perci muttered to herself under her breath.

Today was going to be an absolute shitshow.

The moment they entered the gardens of Heartslabyul, students were already whispering about Ace and Deuce's declaration against Riddle.

Gale and Perci felt out of place in their school uniforms, while everyone else was wearing their dorm uniforms. The twins stuck together out of instinct, naturally feeling comfort in one another after feeling like they stick out like sore thumbs, which they technically do.

All the eyes were on them, but more specifically, on Ace and Deuce. The girls were more than happy to take a spot at either side of Crowley, out of the blast zone. While Crowley may be a bumbling idiot sometimes, he was headmaster for a reason, so Gale and Perci hopes that he would provide some sort of protection from wayward magic while their Pokemon were tucked away.

"You're saying Ace and Deuce are challenging Riddle for the housewarden's seat?!

Please tell me you're kidding." Cater yelled out in shock, standing right next to Trey, who wasn't all that far from Crowley and the twins. But granted, the two were closer to Riddle, as if worried that he might blow up before the match even commences.

"I tried to stop 'em." Was all Trey said, heaving a sigh so drawn out that Perci was convinced he might start going grey at age 18.

Cater bit his bottom lip, worried. "Of all the stupid ideas... I just hope this doesn't make everything worse."
