Chapter 12: Eagle's Burg (Main chracter arc pt 1)

Chapter 12: Eagles Burg
Alvin has arrived on the island of phoenix’s nest a day ago, he began exploring around, he saw a town full of people in it. He approached the town he was impressed by the house, clothing of people, and other things. He asked one of the locals what this town is.
Alvin: Mister what is this place?
Local: This is Eagle’s Burg! A town of joy and secrets from ancient times!
Alvin: I did it! The first step of my adventure is complete! Mister do you know where this “Ancient priest” lives?
Local: He lives on the mountains of falcon’s height in south.
Alvin: Thank you mister! I would repay you some day!

The local nodded and alvin was about to leave then he heard a screaming women and a man yelling and scaring everyone. He approached the middle of the town and he saw a group of bandits 30 of them. The bandits asked everyone for their valuables or they will perish. Alvin pulled out his saber that vizier gave to him the bandits saw him and tried to shoot him with arrow, they told him to drop his saber.

Alvin dint followed their threats he teleported at one of them and stabbed one of them. The bandits were shocked to see his ability to teleport, alvin then shouted the words “Wind of Thera”  it summoned a tornado that wiped out half of the bandits which leaves them overwhelmed. There’s only 14 bandits left, the remaining ones dint hesitate and charged at him. Alvin then summoned a flaming rock which made them hesitate.

Bandit leader: W..w.. Who are you?
Alvin: I am Alvin Emberwind, the wielders if the four scrolls of war.. You may try to challenge me to a duel and I will be happy.

The bandit leader charged at him but it dint go well, alvin dropped the flaming rock that he summoned which hit the leader and the rest of the bandits. The crowd cheered in happiness because of the heroic action that alvin made. Everyone started giving him gifts like food, their traditional bird mask, and other things from this island. Alvin then told everyone that his looking for someone and that he would be leaving soon.

The villagers understood everything that he said and they let him continue his journey and left the village in happiness. He walked outside the town towards south walking was kind of tiring for him so he made a dragon made out of fire and climbed on it, alvin was relieved that he doesn’t need to walk anymore he waited on for the dragon to arrive at the mountain of the ancient priest.

Many hours later he arrived to his destination, the falcon’s height, he was in the foot of the mountain and it was getting dark. Before climbing he was getting hungry and pulled out a piece of meat and ate it whole, he’s now full and ready to climb the mountain.. but he remembered something. Tyrant thought him how to make flaming wings, he used the power if the scroll of life and death to put wings on his back and it worked. He spread the wings and ascended to the mountain and in no time he arrived at the top.

He saw a house that’s well lit up, he knocked on it  but no one answered so he knocked again and someone respond. Alvin asked if it’s the ancient priest, he then heard a voice if a man that’s old it was telling him to come inside. Alvin opened the door and there he saw an old man from his 90’s or over 90’, he greeted the man.
Alvin: Hello sir! Are you the ancient priest that I have been looking for?
Ancient Priest: It is indeed me! My name is Elenor! I am the priest that teaches the way of the Five Gods! Why are you here?
Alvin: The void empress sent me here to find a mythical weapon. The Phoenix Bane.
Ancient Priest: Ah Vizier the void empress, its been a while since we crossed paths. She sent you to look for the mythical weapon, but obtaining that weapon would be the hardest part. Why do you need it though?
Alvin: I need it to defeat the remaining members of the 9 Children of evil, I am also accompanied by Tyrant Shadow Flame, King Mythus, Lyra the ghost assassin, and Vizier the void empress.
Ancient Priest: The four mighty warriors I heard lots of good things about them. Tyrant’s betrayal against his own kingdom to end the infernal king and he also defeated nephelis the god of hatred! I heard lots of good things from those three but tyrant is on another league..
Alvin: I must try to get the weapon to use it against evil.
Ancient Priest: I will tell you how to get it but listen to my instruction closely! The weapon is located at the very edge of the west.. If you see a very  big bird statue. It’s a temple or aa monument. Its where the weapon resides when you get there, there’s traps outside and inside it you need to be careful otherwise you become a dinner for giant birds.
Alvin: What lies inside the temple?
Ancient Priest: Trials.. inside the temple there are trials that you need to complete. I don’t have knowledge what the trials are.. many have failed trying to get that weapon, the weapon needs someone worthy.
Alvin: Thank you for the knowledge elenor.
Elenor: Rest easy alvin you have a mission to complete.

Elenor guided alvin towards the guest bedroom, alvin closed the bedroom door and lied down and slept… Elenor was cleaning, and preparing for the next day.

The next day came alvin was woken up by elenor, he prepared breakfast for alvin, he has a plan to train alvin with that weapon. Elenor invited alvin for a breakfast and both started eating.

The two have completed their meal, alvin packed his needs, Food, Sword, and Water he informed elenor that his leaving to get the weapon, elenor then prayed for his safe travel. Alvin opened the door and he sprouted wings on his back and flew at west and his on his way to the temple.
                    
Many, many hours later alvin arrived at the place, the place looks old and abandoned he knew he have to be careful he can sense traps everywhere, he smelled gun powder somewhere, but he ignored it thread carefully.  He approached the temple and saw a big door, he tried to open it but it dint, he tried blasting it with the powers of the scroll but it dint worked.

He looked around the area he saw a feather mark on a pillar and he instantly knew something.  There are giant birds in the area called Trakal this bird is of the most ferocious one. He pulled out his saber to look for one of those birds. He saw one, it has four wings, a strange looking head, a white feather, and a foot with sharp claws. Alvin threw a stone at it, it drew its attention alvin then created a bow out of nowhere, He shot the creature four times but it was good at dodging it.

Alvin thought of something. Air surrounded his hand, he raised his hand and aimed it to the creature, alvin’s hand started turning to a tornado which dragged the bird, he stabbed it with his sword. He then saw another one it charged on him with its claws ready, alvin  swung his saber and it was hit by a sword wave. More of them appeared he then punched the air and the giant birds fell from sky and slaughtered them.

He put a feather in front of the feather markings and it glowed orange, he looked for other ones, he saw one in a tree and he approached it and did the exact thing. Not too long he found all of them then the door opened up, it was dark from the inside.

He entered the door without any hesitation.....
