Star Wars: The Bad batch

Guilt and anger

"This was a mistake." Harper murmured as she grieved.

"He was under the control of the inhibitor chip, we didn't have a choice. What's the issue?" Tech says.

"That's the issue, Tech!" Harper says with tears.

"He's your brother, why are you acting like you don't ever care that's he's not around." Harper says to Tech. He fixes his goggles then sighs.

"I do care. I just show it differently. I do admit it is odd here without him around but we'll adapt and move on. Some just take longer than others." Tech says.

"It's only been a couple of hours but every second I miss him." Harper says.

"I can tell." Tech says casually as he continues to fly the ship.

Harper frowns.

"Huh? What do you mean by that?" Harper asked as she looked at him.

"Well, you both had a strong relationship. He took the place as an older brother for you as you took the place as a younger sister." Tech says.

That made Harper cry harder.

"I'm just telling you the truth." Tech says.

"I know. That's why I should've stayed with him. I already noticed he was actually different but he wouldn't say anything to me." Harper says as she whipped her eyes.

"That's because he didn't even know what was happening to him. He didn't want to worry you. Also Hunter would have never let you stay with the empire. You wouldn't like it there." Tech says as he focuses on driving the Marauder.

"But it'll be easier for him to have one of us with him." Harper says as she looked out at the stars in front of her.

"He'll be fine. Once he snaps out of it he'll come back." Tech says then Harper crossed her arms.

Who knows how long that'll be. I have to go back for him. Harper made the decision.

She stood up then walked over to the beds and sat on her bed: the bottom one. She looked around and saw Wrecker and the new kid—Omega—sleeping on the floor. She looked at the top bunk and sadness took over her facial expressions.

That's Cross's bed...Harper thinks to herself. I miss him...I hope he's alright.

Harper lays down and puts the pillow over her trying to drown out the horrible thoughts that were taking over, it wasn't working too well.

————With Hunter————

I'm a horrible leader... Hunter thinks to himself as he lays in the bed.

What kind of leader leaves their own brother behind! Hunter scolded himself.

He's gonna hate me forever, I shouldn't have left him. But I can't go back, I can't risk the rest of my family now. It's too dangerous. We have Omega now, we have to move forward. Hunter tells himself.

I need to keep an eye on Harper though, she's gonna try and get him back I know it. At lease she doesn't want to leave her own behind...

————with Crosshair————

They left me behind! They. Left. Me. Behind. Hunter left me. Wrecker left me. Tech left me. Echo left me. Harper—no. She wouldn't. But she did. She. Left. me behind. They all left me for that kid! Crosshair says to himself as he lays in bed looking up at the ceiling in anger.

THEY! LEFT! ME! I knew they never cared. They got their chance and left me. I shouldn't have trusted Hunter. He does leave his own behind! He literally chose some child! She calls us 'brothers' bull! She's the reason why we're separated now! I hate her! I hate them all!

I'm going to find them, and when I find them I'm gonna make them pay, every last one of them. Specially the kid.
