We silently resolved the issue in the backseat and we were cool with having relationships within one group. We got to our room and Akio gave my haori and weapon back. I hugged him tightly. "Thank you, brother," He gasped. "Did you call me brother?!" I nodded. He hugged me tighter as he stroked my back. "I like it..." He muttered. We packed our stuff and got in the car. "I'll drive this time!" Atlas put on his seatbelt. "Okay, be careful," Lythoria warned. I sat in the passenger seat next to Atlas. "Let's go home."
Halfway through the path to the airport, Atlas struggled to keep his eyes open. The wheel slowly turned to the left, going from the middle of the road to 'too close to hitting the roadside shops.' The others were busy in the back and I was the only one to notice this. "Atlas!" I lurched him as he almost hit a guy. He awoke from his half-sleep and turned the wheel a little to the right, returning to the centre of the road. "Didn't you sleep?!" I worried. "Well, Atlas hardly slept when you were resting," Calista sighed.
"Is that true?" I asked him as he parked the car. He slowly nodded as he rubbed his eyes. "I...I couldn't stop...worrying about you..." He held the steering tighter. I gasped softly. "I-I should've been more-" I cut his sentence by pulling him into a kiss. I couldn't resist kissing such a cute and caring guy. The back seat cheered. Even the babies cooed and giggled. I blushed and broke the kiss. I turned to the window and looked out. Atlas' eyes bore into me as his jaw remained open. "Atlas we're gonna be late," "O-Oh!"
We reached the airport and got inside the plane, using the same excuse. "She has a genetic mutation," Asa pointed to me. "Make sure to retake the photos when back in your homeland," The security instructed. We nodded and got inside. "Ahh...We're going back home!" "Are there...some jobs free in your school?" Lythoria cradled her babies. "I heard the homeroom job for our class was free..." Akira grinned. "...since some students bullied her that she resigned," Our eyes landed on Asa. "OH C'MON, GUYS!"
"Oh! And remember how they said they were searching for a chemistry teacher?" Lazuli jumped. "How about Akio taking that job? He's a healer anyway!" "That is... a good idea!" Akio looked at Lazuli. "I'll call the principal. The room next to ours is free and you both can take up the dorm!" Lazuli tapped on her phone. I sighed. Life is gonna be just fine. I have great friends -- four brothers, four sisters and a lover. They are my family. "A house is not a home, Kaya," The whisper said to me. "It never is, Ahmya," I smiled.
Akio and Lythoria learnt the basics of teaching stuff in the rest of the 2 1/2 months holiday period. We six spent our time fully playing with their kids, Tsuki and Taiyo. "Atlas," I called him. "Mhm?" "Why don't you call me 'Reiko' anymore?" He looked at me with a blush. "Kaya suits you better," He grinned. "By the way..." He hid something behind his back. "Close your eyes," "What is it, Atlas?~" "Well, you said that you liked that tree you saw in the Silver tunnel?" "Yeah..." "Well..." He took out a pot.
"This is called the Silver Yew Tree," He showed a small plant. "We should plant it outside when Tsuki and Taiyo turn 1," He chuckled. "It's your birthday tomorrow as well, so..." He rubbed the back of his neck. "Happy birthday, Love," "Oh, Atlas!!" I hugged him tight and kissed him on the cheek. "CAUGHT ON 4K!" Asa and Lazuli took a picture on their phones and ran out of the room. "NO!" I ran after them.
The 2 months ran by so fast. And tomorrow was school. "Can you guys believe there's school tomorrow?" I groaned.
"I don't wanna go!" Asa moaned. "Same here," Lazuli and Calista raised their hands. "If Calista stays, I will too," Akira sighed. "What if I say I wanted to go?" I smiled nervously. "I'm with Kaya," Atlas looked around. "WOW!" Lazuli clapped her hands. "Simp," Akira shook his head. "Oh c'mon, you didn't wanna go 'cause Calista said so!" "DON'T YOU DARE BRING HER INTO THIS!" "Can't you both NOT fight for a single moment??" I hissed. "Now let's sleep! We have to wake up early," Calista clicked her tongue.

I sat in my seat and took a breath. The history teacher walked in. "Good morning, students!" He said in a happy tone. We were all confused. "Where's Reiko?" "Umm..." I raised my hand. "I...I had gotten a genetic mutation. My name is Kaya Chikako," I smiled at him. His raised brow lowered, since maybe the smile reminded him of Reiko. "Well...Did it hurt?" He walked up to me. "Kind of. But I don't feel any pain now," I assured. "You must've felt bad throughout?" "I didn't. Because I know life is Sore Until Nix."
