Everything was normal for the next two weeks, until February 13th came. Nico knocked at my door and told me he wanted to go on a walk. We have been doing that almost everyday for a long time already.

As we were walking, Nico suddenly stopped and started talking, "Y/n, tomorrow is the 14th. I was thinking maybe we can go out together- as friends of course..."

"Sure." I shrugged (Inside, I was on fire).

"Wait, really?"

"Yeah, why not? It's gonna be fun."

"Yeah, OK. Sure. See you at 8 tomorrow?"

"Great. Wait for me in your cabin."

"Great."

I didn't want to just split ways. I wanted to spend more time with Nico. I took a breath then spoke, "Nico, how about we go to the Arts And Crafts Building?"

"You go there?"

"Yeah. I like painting and I play a bunch of instruments."

"Really? We can go paint together."

"You paint?! Nico! How dare you not tell me?!"

Nico shrugged, "I don't have to tell you anything." He smiled with daring eyes.

"So this is what we do now, huh?"

Nico snatched my glasses, "Apologise."

I tried getting my glasses back but I couldn't see without them, "Give them back!" I whined.

Nico set my glasses back on my face, "Now let's go before you make me lose my passion for painting as a whole."

"Okay, okay, Mr. Grumpy."

Nico started walking toward the Arts And Crafts Building so I had to catch up with him.

When they got there, I pulled out an unfinished painting from a corner. Nico tried looking at it but I hurled it away, "Let us both finish first then show each other."

He raised an eyebrow then shrugged, "Sure."

We both got to painting. Almost an hour later, we were both done and ready to show each other. We both flipped our paintings around at the same time. Nico's was a detailed painting of some alley where the wood buildings were coloured and there were bikes on the streets and a sea and mountains in the background. It looked so beautiful and so...real. I was fascinated, "Nico, it's beautiful."

"It's Venice. I've never been there but the pictures I see just amaze me. Your painting is the real art though."

I looked at my painting and scoffed. It's not that good. I thought. It was a painting of the place I find the most peaceful ever, the ocean. A simple but incredibly detailed painting that shows the sand, the sea foam, and the clear water. Nico looked at the painting then back at me, "It's great and you're way too modest."

"Shut up."

He rolled his eyes, "Whatever."

I yawned, "I think I'm gonna head to sleep."

"Same."

We both left the building for our cabins
