Part 15

I started getting better. I started being genuinely happy and eating all my meals and doing art again. I even started going on my daily walks with Nico on the beach. I loved everything. Don't you dare think I forgot my own brother! I just couldn't be miserable anymore.

After some time, I got an Iris Message while I was still in bed since I had woken up early and Nico had his arms around me. The sudden rainbow showed up in front of me and I saw Percy’s face. He spoke frantically, "Y/n, thank the gods you're okay! Ho- Wait, is that Nico's head?"

"Yeah, I moved into his cabin because I can't walk into ours without having a mini panick attack."

"Oh...Okay, so, I'm back at...I don't think I can tell you (Joke's on you, I know) but long story short, I got my memory back. Yay!"

I smiled at him, "Percy, good luck. I love you."

"I love you too, little sis. Anywa- Oops, I gotta go now. Bye"

And poof, he was gone. I sighed in relief. I thanked the gods he could remember me and that I had him in my life. Annabeth, Leo, Piper, Jason, and Gleeson Hedge were already on their way to him. My muscles loosened up and I put my head back on the pillow and kissed Nico's cheek. I knew he wouldn't wake up because whenever he woke up, it'd take up a lot of effort and time to wake him up. I drifted back to sleep for the first time not being worried sick about Percy.

I felt Nico move almost one hour later and that woke me up. I opened my eyes to see that he had woken up. I smiled, "Good morning, Sunshine."

He looked me dead in the eye, "Don't ever call me Sunshine. Okay?"

I looked around for any sign he was joking, "Oh, I didn't know that it'll annoy you. I'm sorry."

He chuckled, "No, it's okay. I was just playing around. It's just that if I, Nico di Angelo, son of Hades, am 'Sunshine', then what are you?"

I smiled and shrugged, "I can be the grumpy one."

"Nooo! I want that role!" He whined dramatically.

"Okay, Mr. Grumpy. From now on I'm calling you Mr. Grumpy, Mr. Grumpy." I started laughing and he just kept staring at me, his eyes lovestruck and a smile forming on his face. I stole a kiss from him while he was in that daze and he just pulled me back onto him while I tried to pull away. We both fell on the bed, me above him, while he was kissing me. We both pulled away for breath and collapsed on the bed, laughing.

"Y/n," He whispered.

"Hmm?"

"When we grow up, I want you to become Mrs. Grumpy."

I chuckled and sighed, "I'd love to be."
