As soon as Nico locked the door to the Hades Cabin, I sighed. I put my head down, "Did you really mean any word you said back there?"
"Y/n, yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. I meant every single word."
"Everything? Including the part about Y/n Di Angelo? Do you really think we're gonna get married?"
He nodded and took a step forward, "Y/n Y/L/n (I wish I didn't go by that but there's no other option), will you accept me as your person? The person that goes with you the whole way without giving up on you?"
I kissed him for the millionth time this day. He took a step back, "I have a secret too."
I sat down on the bed and pulled him with me, "What is it?"
"You know I've been leaving camp for the last while, right?"
I nodded. He continued, "Well, there's another camp for half-bloods. It's a camp for roman half-bloods. I've been going there to see my half-sister, Hazel Lavesque. She's a daughter of Pluto."
My eyes widened. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. The only thing that came into my mind was to hug him, so I did. He was surprised by that, I know, but he still hugged me back.
"Nico, I gotta meet her."
"Who?"
"Hazel. Your sister."
"Oh, maybe one day. Just please don't tell anyone."
I nodded. I kept staring into his eyes after that. I couldn't look away. I was captured by those black eyes in this pale face. I remembered all the times he'd blush and this pale face would become a white canvas that someone covered with red paint. He'd be so cute. I felt really grateful for having such a person in my life. My boyfriend. I loved him with every cell of my immortal body. I had to do something about him. I couldn't just live and watch him die in front of me. I wished I could just die like other people. I definitely didn't blame my parents. They were great. I just didn't want to watch him die. That would be the worst thing in my whole life. I really got caught within my own thoughts. I didn't feel anything before I felt his lips on mine and his hands in my hair. I kissed him back with the same passion. I pulled away, "Nico, we have to Iris Message my parents. I can't just be with you and watch you die. I would never feel the things I feel with you with someone else. Never."
He nodded and fixed my hair. We didn't want anybody getting suspicious. I made a rainbow and fished out a drachma from my pocket. I Iris Messaged my father, "Hi, dad!"
"Y/n! Is everything alright?"
"Yes. Well, no. Dad, look, I love Nico but he's mortal. Dad, I can't just watch him die!"
He nodded, "Yes, Y/n, I understand. Maybe we can offer him immortality?"
"No. Dad, I want to give up my immortality."
"Are you sure?"
I nodded solely, "Yes."
"Okay then. Y/n, you're not immortal anymore. I'll miss you. Bye, Y/n. I have stuff to do." Dad cut off the Iris Message.
"Wait. That's it?" Nico asked. I shrugged then held his hand.
"Y/n, are you gonna be staying here during the winter?"
"Honestly, I don't know. If you have plans for us then I'm coming with ya."
"Well, I was planning on taking you to meet my father."
"But I already met him?"
"Yeah. I meant stay in the underworld with us for a while. Maybe I can take you with me to Camp Jupiter."
"The roman camp?"
He nodded and held both my hands in his, "Y/n, do you trust me?"
"With my life."
He smiled, "Good. I just want you to know that I will love and protect you until the end of me, which is now basically eternity."
I smiled too, "To a future with you."
He nodded solely and repeated my words. We kissed for a small moment. Nico is truly the best human I could ever have as a partner. I said that out loud. We talked for a while about Nico's plans for us for the winter. Then, the door knocked.
"Come in!" I shouted. The door opened to reveal Will behind it.
"Sorry, guys. I just got concerned. You guys were in there for a while."
I rolled my eyes, "Okay, mom!"
