Who are you?
Do you know who you are
When people ask tell me about yourself what do you say
When you look in the mirror what do you see
Do you see your trauma and failures
Or do you see those small accomplishments and successes
When you see your scars do you see the story behind them or do you tell yourself how much you deserve the pain
When people tell you thy love you what do you think
Do you feel as if you don't deserve love
Is that why you go back to toxic relationships
Is that why whenever you hear those words "I love you" your heart stings not sure if it's true or not
What do you think when you see your body in the mirror
The way your eyes stare back at you
The way your eyes hate your body
The way your eyes water when you see pretty girls
Wishing you could look like them
Who are you?
Just a bundle of sadness and anger is who you think you are but really
Who are you.
