Celeste
I yelp as he shoves me by the shoulder into my room; my hands reach out to catch me on the ground before I fall face first, jerking toward Elias, who slams the door shut and turns to face me.
"You don't like that, don't you?" Through painful pools of eyes, I try cradling away from him, but his grip reaches for my ankle.
Pulling me forward, the floor causes me to raise my dress over my thighs, baring me in my underwear, "Stop, let me go!" I shout, but he doesn't stop, he grabs me by my forearm and tosses me into the bed as if I were some sort of doll.
Air slammed out of my lungs as my back landed on the matress. I couldn't think straight; all I could do was kick and punch, but he dodged each one of them. "Stop fighting me, Celeste!"
"Getaway from me!" Kicking him in the chest, his back slams against the wall.I gasp for air and crawl away-
When he suddenly drags me back down again, tears of fear run down my eyes, and when he notices he froze at the stop, the grip on my ankle loosens and the yells and fighting stop.
I tense below him, wondering what he's thinking about, "Were...you about to rape me-"
"You think that low of me, huh?" he said through gritted teeth, cutting me off mid-sentence. Swallowing, he leaned away. The echoes of punches and gunshots below us caused my head to go insane, where is everyone? Do they know I'm gone, is Damian safe?!
My gaze glares right through him as he runs a hand through his hair. His hands tremble along with the rest of him. My breathing is hard; it feels like a pillow is suffocating me.
Shivers run down my spine as he glances back at me, his hazel eyes dilating once they meet mine. He steps closer, and I jump, but he doesn't stop. I still as he grabs my forearms and pins them to my side-
When a whiff of mint and cologne suddenly flares my nostrils, my heart picks up its pace louder and harder, my skin runs cold, and as if he knew I realized the impossible, he smirks, "You've been free this whole time?" my voice comes out as a whisper.
He did not answer my question; he just nodded politely, and another tear rolled down my eyes. He's been roaming free this whole time. " For how long?" I mumbled in fear. "Since I got here." I shut my eyes, not being able to look him in the eyes.
"What will you do to me now?" I shiver as his hand wipes the tears rolling down my face, and without a double thought, he leans back up. Opening my eyes, I glare at him, "I'm done with your games, Celeste-"
The bedroom door slams open. I jump as two men groan while dragging someone by his forearms.
"Damian!" I dart up from the bed and reach for his limp body, but before I can, Elias pushes me back against the bed. Damian's eyes are shut, but he is fighting to keep them open. He can barely keep himself up. The two men look alike as if they were brothers. One has brown hair in a messy bun, while the other has a slicked-to-the-side hairstyle in a dark brown shade.
Both are in a black leather uniform, used in movies when assassins go on a mission. They both wear clear earpieces and big rifles on their hips.
They toss Damian on the ground like a dead person while giving Elias a nod and smile: "Brothers, I would like you to meet." The two guys turn to look at me, and my eyes widen in shock. Man Bun had dark black eyes, but beside him, his slick back eyes were majestic. They were both brown eyes, but his left had a spot of green. Heterochromia, and their light brown skin was covered in tattoos.
"My future wife, Celeste Dolores" They both grin, giving me an arch of a brow; the one with slicked-back hair had a slit through his left brow. Meanwhile, the one in the messy bun had a slit on his right, "Rein and Raus," I jerk in Elias's direction.
His smile beamed as I panted heavily. "Raus..." I swallowed. "As in...Raus the Fourth Morana?" The one in the messy bun nodded. That's Raus, and his brother with the slicked-to-the-side hair is Rein.
They're alive?! I thought Elias murdered them both, "After their 'deaths,' they came with me and had been training non-stop since, for this very moment."
I shiver, he has won, Elias has fucking won, and my husband, the man I love is unconscious on the ground, meanwhile, I have no fucking clue what's going on downstairs.
"Leave us." Elias's smile drops within the blink of an eye, and my eyes dart toward Damian, struggling to sit.
Elias kicks him directly in the stomach, causing Damian's effort to fail, "Stop!" I yelled, jumping forward. I gripped Elias's forearm, attempting to twist it as Damian fought to stand; I failed to harm as Elias caught my throat and pinned me against the wall.
Gripping onto his wrist, I struggle to breathe in air. The tears in my eyes pool unshedding, causing my vision to blur.
"You want to see the real me muñeca? I'll show you the real me." His grip tightens, and eventually, my feet are tip toes as he raises me up the wall. Digging my claws of nails into his hand, he-
A fist slams against his cheek, causing Elias to fall to the side; I fall back to my feet, breathing in as if I've been drowning in a pool of water as Damian cups my cheeks.
The tears roll down my eyes as I notice his swollen black eye and broken nose with a busted lip, "Baby, you okay?" his voice calms my nerves down-
An arm meets his throat shoving him back, I gasp as I watch them both fall against the ground, Damian shoves his shoulder against Elias's rib, but Elias doesn't budge to release him, tightening his forearm over his throat.
I rush underneath the bed.
Reaching for the hand of a gun, my hand touches the metal and it's the best feeling I felt in so long, aiming the pistol toward Elias's head he tenses but doesn't release Damian who is struggling to breathe.
"Let him go, or I'll kill you-"
"Kil him and I'll kill you" My eyes round and my lips part in shock, my heart picks up its pace as I feel the hand of a gun hitting the back of my head, that voice. That fucking voice.
A whimper escapes my throat as the safe sensation I once felt disappears. Slowly glancing behind me, my gaze meets a pair of brown eyes with which I trusted my life.
A smile peeked his lips as he gripped the gun tightly in his hand, ready to pull the trigger, "Davin," his name couldn't properly escape my throat without a sob.
His gaze darkened as I said his name; the blood on my skin was set on fire as he hovered over me like a child, "Why?" I whimpered, and before he could answer, he clicked off the safety button, "To Survive."
