A sound went off in Mist's Room, it was some song she had no care for. Banner stood on the other side watching her. Stephen was with him. "I don't know why, but she requested you." Stephen tried his best to hide his smirk. His mind went back to their late-night talk. "Neither do I. It's okay though, It would be easier for me to portal her there. Less chance of her trying anything." Banner agreed and left him to get ready. Mist turned from the mirror, she felt his presence. Slowly she walked to the window. "...Is it time already." She couldn't wait to be rid of what they did to her. Stephen walked to the door and opened it. Mist was on the other side, she had a smile. As if she was saying she couldn't wait to leave this place. "What about your brother?" Stephen asked her as he stepped in. Mist followed him with her eyes. "What about him, he left me there. Abandoned me, us. We don't need him." Stephen looked at her, "Us?"

Mist stood by the door still, "Yes the original persona who once occupied this body—the first time she was exposed to that thing. I was born. Granit, I wasn't as strong as I am now." Stephen was about to open the portal but paused. "How did that change?" Mist walked up to him and stood there. It was a story she rarely spoke of. "Years of exposure, of course, no brother to come save her. She lost all hope and slowly wished to vanish. I answered her prayers, simple." Stephen was now more curious. "So then who are you? An alter ego or something." Mist just stood there. "No, I am the part of Angel that was touched by the tesseract. Cut off, and made into a person or my own..." Stephen had never heard of anything like that happening yet there she was. "So then two minds occupy one body. You don't feel any pain at all? How is that possible?" Mist stood in front of Stephen. "There is no pain when the other one has been dormant for years." Stephen needed to know for sure. "How did you do it Mist? How did you convince her to give up?" Mist walked away from him as she spoke. "Who do you think convinced her that dear James was NEVER coming?" She laughed. "The truth is he did try to once. After his fight with that Rogers guy. I made sure to cover our tracks and make it seem like we died. Then we were taken by FURY...and well...here I am..." Stephen walked next to her and opened the portal. "I can help you get rid of her, once you are free of Fury's control. I can even take Bucky with us, and fix him. That is if you want." Mist thought about it. She did rather enjoy being around him when he was Winter Soldier. "Only if you make him Winter Soldier again. Otherwise, I don't want him." Stephen held out his hand. "Deal...shall we?"

Tony, Shuri, Banner, and Peter were all prepping when Stephen and Mist walked in. As instructed she had her eyes closed holding his hand. "Peter get her set up will you." With a nod, he walked over and took her hand. Stephen stepped back and watched as he put on the headset. it was blacked out Mist couldn't see anything. He then handed her some very well-made earbuds that would block her ability to hear. "you did all that in one night?" He looked to Tony. He threw out a picture of Mist's brain and Shuri looked at it. "Wasn't too hard, had help from Shuri here. You ready?" Shuri stood before Mist who was now lying down on a makeshift table. "Yeah, I had some things brought over for this. I hope you are all ready, this will take a lot of time." Tony and Banner stood on the other side of Shuri, and Stephen and Peter left them to work. Peter went off to go do something. Stephen sat in the kitchen recalling his meeting with Val.

"So, what are your thoughts on this Mist?" She sat across from him, in a smaller meeting room somewhere in Connecticut. He held a cup of tea in his hand and stared at it as he spoke. "She is something I've never come across before. Kobik will need to fine-tune her a bit though. She has value and will most definitely help once she realizes we are not like those that came before us." Val raised an eyebrow, he never spoke well of those he brought in before. "Right, she was used by them, treated poorly even. We can fix that small flaw, I'll have Kobik on standby then. You like this one?" Stephen sipped his drink, "Not particularly no, just you found one that piques my interest is all." The two continue to chat and Stephen looks at the time, Val stands. "Oh one more thing, we have a new arrival coming in from one of our other agents. I think you'll like who they brought. Be sure to peek in, they'll be coming in at night. I'll let you know when. Good work Strange keep it up you may just be given that request you asked for." Stephen nodded and opened a portal back to the compound, somewhere no one would accidentally walk by. He stepped through and Val watched him vanish. With a smirk, she headed to her office. A man walked up next to her as she made her way. "The target is within range, the agent is ready and will be here as planned." Val smiled "Good, give them the go-ahead and fetch Kobik for me, please. Looks like she is busy with another here very soon." The man nodded and left. Val sat in her chair. The screen displayed a most interesting scene. "It's all coming together nicely..."

Peter found Steve outside standing thinking about stuff. "It'll be fine you know. If anyone can do it, it's them." Steve turned around, his focus was on only Angel as he knew her. "What are the chances that Angel is still somewhere in there?" Peter stood next to Steve and stared out into the morning sky as well. He knew the chance of her being in there somewhere was very slim to none. But he had hope. "I bet she is a fighter, you never know, she could be waiting for you. How is Bucky taking it all?" Steve had gone to see Bucky last night and he was not in a good mood. He had wanted to go see his sister, but Tony had suggested otherwise. He was now watching it all happen via TV in the meeting room. "Not well, he is coping though. Watching from the meeting room." Peter felt bad, he knew how bad Bucky wanted to be with his sister. "Well least he can watch, maybe Shuri will fix her so they can see one another finally." Steve knew better, it wouldn't be that easy. He turned to the door and patted Peter's shoulder. "Well, no use worrying on an empty stomach. Let's go eat something."

Stephen stood there watching them at work. Tony and Banner were assisting Shuri who was very carefully going through Mist's mind, seeing where her work had gone wrong. "There it is. See that right there?" Shuri enhanced the screen and there it was a small implant. Shuri frowned and very carefully had it removed. Tony and Banner saw it and gave each other a look. One that said they needed to visit Fury sometime soon. "Shell needs rest before I continue. Take her back to her room for now as is." Shuri spoke as she closed the small incision up. Her mind needed time to adjust. Time to heal. Angel's mind was finally free, well to an extent. The person inhabiting the body was not Angel, and the fake persona was now long gone, they didn't know that though, and would be able to use it to her advantage. "I'll take her back then." Bucky was watching from the meeting room and chimed in. "When can I see her?"  Shuri looked to Tony and Banner. "Not just yet I'm afraid. All I did was remove the hold Fury had over her. When she is ready, I will look at how deep this goes." Bucky slammed the table. "So you're saying that I might not ever be able to see her?" Tony could hear the hurt through all that anger and left to find him. "stay put Barnes I'll come to you and we can chat.." Banner watched as Angel was led back to her room via Strange's Portal. "Don't worry, I'll keep a close eye on her." Stephen stepped through and the portal vanished. Finally, now he could bring her to Val. He leaned in and whispered to Mist, whom he KNEW was able to hear him. "I'll wait till everyone is asleep and come back for you. Stay put til then." Mist indeed could hear him speak, in the back of her mind was Angel still trapped in her mental cage screaming to get out. She hadn't been very forthcoming. Angel has always been aware of everything going on. It was like she had front-row seats to the Angel show, but it wasn't her. It was what was born from that dam stone.

A girl with white pigtails was walking down a hall, humming. Her small hand pushed the door open to reveal Val looking at someone's profile. "You called for me Madam?" Val looked up and smiled, there she was, her best girl. "Hello Kobik, we will be having two newcomers who will need our help." Kobik walked to the desk and smiled happily, "Yeah? That's so great! Should I get ready then? Who are they?" Kobik sat in the chair excited as Val brought up a face on a tablet showing it to Kobik. "Her name is Angel Barnes, taken by Old Hydra in the 40s and subjected to the Tesseract for countless years it would seem." Kobik saw the woman on the tablet. She was pretty and had very green eyes that sparkled it seemed. Val swiped and before Kobik was a woman with stringy long black hair and eyes so blue it was haunting. Val continued. "This is what she looks like now, more or less. This one calls herself Mist or Winter Mist, to match her brother who was once known as Winter Soldier. You will be converting this one like the others to Hydra Agents. But this one will be a leader of a special task force." Kobik looked up, "You mean mine?" her eyes lit up and looked back at the woman. "Whoa, that's all her work! Oh, thank you, Madam! I will get right to work!" Val laughed and swiped the photo again, this time it was a different person. Kobik paused and looked up at Val, her eyes were wide. "Madam, is this?" Val nodded and stood up. "Yes, and this one will be coming in first. Let me fill you in."
