5 years later, I am sat on my back porch watching all the people I consider family enjoying the summer day with a bbq. Me and Spence got married 4 years ago and after we got back from our honeymoon another surprise came along, our son Levi. I spot Spencer playing with Levi and admire how amazing of a dad he is. Emily comes and sits next to me, "he's a great father"
"Yeah he is. I wouldn't have done this with anyone else." Rubbing my swollen belly "Levi was bad enough but baby girl is putting in overtime with the pregnancy hormones. It feels like I cry every minute of the day, I'm not sure how Spence puts up with me but I'm so glad he does." I say "it's because he loves you. You're the only woman he sees and he wouldn't give you or your family up for the world." She states making her way over to JJ
"I know." I say to myself and smile as I see Spencer makes his way over, taking Emily's seat
"How are you feeling Red, need a drink, food, massage?" Laughing I say "I'm okay baby, but do you know how much I appreciate you."
"I know Red. You show me everyday, I am so grateful for you and our family."
Cuddling up to Spence, I look out to the garden and realise I have the family I never had, and I will do anything to protect it.
