"Pinupuntahan kita kasi tumagal ka at nag-aalala na ako sayo." Boboy said to me.

"Pero parang okay ka naman." He continued.

Still upset, he then faced Yvan.

"At ikaw, guest ka naman dito, bakit ang landi-landi mo sa mga staff?" Boboy burst at Yvan.

"Boboy naman, stop.." I reprimanded him.

"Hoy! You stay out of this!" Yvan answered back.

"The audacity of you to attack us when you can't even tell Lia how you feel! If you really like her, you would man up and not give her mixed emotions!" Yvan snapped at Boboy.

Boboy clenched his fists. I was still stressed with the situation.

"Boboy, what you don't value, somebody else will." Yvan spoke angrily to him.

"I have valued Lia all my life, and I know I am twice the man you are. So tell me. Could you give her the same best four years that I did?" He continued.

"What the heck, Yvan! Pwede ba?" I butted in.

"Tumahimik ka at huwag mo akong English-in!" Boboy yelled at Yvan.

I was done listening to their stupid fight so I snapped at them.

"Pwede ba? Tigilan niyo 'to! Yvan, you don't know anything. Boboy, it's not what it looks like." I yelled at them.

"Alam ko na Lia. Hindi ka pa nakaka-move on. Siguro nga yun ang dahilan kung bakit mo pang pinag-tsismisan yung ex mo katulad sa akin! At nakakadismaya na ganun pala ang tingin mo sa akin!" Boboy snapped at me.

"Ang linaw na, simula pa." He cried out.

Then he walked away. Worried, I followed him inside the function room. I called for his attention but he ignored me. Instead, he focused on keeping the equipment. I was already desperate.

"I'm so sorry. Hindi ko alam bakit nagawa 'ko to." I pleaded.

"Iniinvite kasi ako sa kasal na ito pero hindi ko sinabi sayo." I continued.

"Kausapin mo ako." I cried out.

No response from him.

"Magpapaliwanag ako. Pabigyan mo naman ako." I kept begging.

He stopped what he was doing.

"Pwede ba? Hayaan mo nga ako!" He snapped.

I was on the verge of sobbing.

"I am so sorry." I finally broke down in tears.

"Pumunta ka na sa bestfriend mo. Baka hinahanap ka na." He said.

He continued packing, grabbed his belongings, then left. I started crying. My heart was deeply crushed. I couldn't stop myself from having a breakdown anymore. I was close to wailing. To my surprise, Yvan caught up with me. I was so mad at him I didn't even look at him. And then I left the hotel.

A few days passed. Still feeling sorrowful over my fight with him, I sat on my bed while scrolling through photos of Boboy and I on my phone. Hesitant at first, I took courage to message Boboy, but I found out he had blocked me on social media. My eyes went teary again. Later on, I sent a message to Yvan.

          "Best, we need to talk."

He replied agreeing to my request. The two of us then met at a coffee shop on a fine morning the following day.
