𝘥𝘦𝘢𝘳 𝘥𝘪𝘢𝘳𝘺,

A day has passed since the Aoyagis have visited us. I have to admit, it's a little nice to have visitors the same age as me once in a while.

Dad is letting me visit Toya tomorrow. I'm currently multitasking, writing a letter while also writing in my diary. Writing and reading really is a cure for boredom.

I closed my diary not long after finishing the paragraph-long letter. It wasn't alot of words, but my hands were tired and so was I, since I couldn't sleep after that expression he gave.

Sadness?

"Should I send it today?" I whispered as I rested my head on my palm.

I let out a small yawn that was mixed with a small sigh as I took one last look at my handwritten letter. I should really pick out an envelope right now, but my body really did not want me to stand up. I really shouldn't have slept at five o'clock in the morning, should I?

Especially worrying about meaningless things.

I massaged my temples. Wow, I sure am quite stressed, aren't I? Before I knew it, my head had dropped onto my desk and my eyelids had fluttered closed.

"Why can't I just fall back asleep," I depressingly exhaled as the clock continued to tick behind me, a bit annoying.

As my last resort, I started reading poems from an old book written by Chuuya Nakahara.

In case you haven't heard of him, Chuuya Nakahara is a Japanese poet. From what I also learnt, he sadly passed away on October 22.

I filled a tall transparent vase half full with water. Toya's father gave me a bouquet of flowers, specifically white flowers. I placed a few chrysanthemums into the vase before adding more flowers and arranging them to look better.
