A few weeks had passed and Isabella got an exciting email. It was from her manager telling her the date of when her album was coming out and that she needed to start promoting it. Isabella immediately posted the good news.

Isabella walked into the Arrowhead stadium and went to the conference room. She had gotten a text from her boss for an emergency meeting before the work day instead of after. "Now that we are all here I have something to announce." Bradly her boss said and everyone became nervous. "Due to some personal reasons, I will no longer be the director for the Chiefs media and photography team effective immediately." Gasps are heard all over the room. "But don't worry... I have already chosen who will take my place... and that is Brad." More gasps are heard and Isabella wishes the ground would swallow her up. She did not like Brad and didn't like that he would now be in charge of her. Brad smiled and stood up. "Don't worry guys I have my full trust in Brad. And not just because we share a name." He joked then patted Brad on his back. Isabella left the meeting with dread. She could already sense that this was a bad idea.

"I don't like that Izzy... that guy doesn't give me good vibes," Patrick said after Isabella told him about her new boss. "I don't like it either but there's nothing I can do about it," Isabella said then started petting Sliver. "If he messes with you tell me ok?" Patrick said and Isabella agreed. "Yeah, I will." She said then turned on the TV. She scrolled through the channels but was interrupted by her phone ringing.
"Hello?" Isabella answered. "Hi, Izzy!" She could hear Joe in the background. "Shhh!" Clare shushed him. "Hi, Isabella!" Clare said with excitement. "Hi Clare, hi Joey." Isabella laughs and to Patrick's dismay, she gets off his lap. "Hey, I was calling to see if we could come in November for your birthday!" Clare asked and Isabella sighed. "Erm... I don't know Clare... you know how I feel about that." Isabella said. She didn't like her birthday and had no problem not celebrating it. "Ok fine, can we come to celebrate your album?" Clare asked but Isabella knew what she was doing. Her album was coming out on the 17th and her birthday was on the 19th. "Fine Clare but I swear-" Isabella began. "I won't do anything! I'm just coming to celebrate my best friend's album." Isabella hummed in response. "Here, Joe wants to talk to you," Clare said and passed her phone. "Hello?" He said. "Hey, what's up?" Isabella asked then went to Patrick's room. "Just checking on you, how have you been?" He asked. "Good... I actually have some news for you and Clare." She said nervously. "Ok, I'll put you on speaker... go ahead." He said. "Well... I wanted to tell you that me and Patrick worked stuff out and are now together." She said and waited for a response. Clare squealed. "Oh my gosh!! That's great! Since when? Why didn't you tell us sooner?!" She yelled. "It's been a month and a half... and I wanted to keep it between us," Isabella explained. "That's great Izzy, I'm happy for you," Joe said. "Ok, my turn to talk to her." She heard Clare whisper. "I just got the phone!" Joe whispered back. "Yeah well, it's my phone," Clare said then took it off speaker. "I'll call you later Izzy!" Joe yelled. "OK so tell me everything!!" Clare said and Isabella laughed.

After her call with Clare, she walked back into the living room and sat next to Patrick. He immediately pulled her back onto his lap. "Everything ok?" he asked and Isabella nodded. "Yeah, it was Clare and Joey. They're coming to celebrate my album next month." She tells him and he nods. "So I've been meaning to ask you but this Christmas would you want to go back to Texas with me?" He asked and Isabella tensed. "Uh- I-" he cut her off. "We would stay with my family or if you are more comfortable with it was could stay at a hotel. If you don't want to is ok. I get it." He said reassuring her. "No, it's not that... I just- I haven't been back to Texas since college. And I haven't seen my parents since then." She told him. "Izzy we don't have to do anything you don't want to do. If you don't want to visit your family you don't have to." He said but she shook her head. "I would feel awful not visiting... can I think about it?" She asked and he nodded. "Of course baby. Just let me know sometime next month." He told her.

Isabella was editing photos from the Chiefs vs Titans game when she got a message from Brad her old co-worker and new boss. "I need that montage video ASAP." Isabella rolled her eyes and then sent it to him and went back to editing. A few minutes went by and he responded. "I'm going to need you to re-edit this... it is not up to standards." Isabella scoffed. "If I may ask. What is wrong with it?" She sent it and immediately got a response back. "It's sloppy and the clips are boring." Isabella wanted to punch him through the screen. Ever since he got the supervisor job he has been acting more and more like a jerk and Isabella was getting tired of it. "I'll get it to you tomorrow." She responded. "That won't work. I need it tonight by 11 pm." Isabella looked over at the clock and it was 10:15 pm Isabella pulled up the montage video in her editor took out a few clips and added a few more. She then did her best to make it less sloppy even though she didn't think it was in the first place. At 10:55 she sent in the Video. "This will do." He responds.
