Me and Shu are talking to each other over our laptops waiting for FC to join the game.
" Ugh! What is taking FC so long!" I say becoming impatient.
" Maybe we should just call him?" Shu says, trying to calm me down.
"Okay, I'll do it." I say picking up my phone and dialing his number. "FC, we're waiting for you in the game. Are you coming?" Aaron says,
" Sorry, I can't play today. My parents got me a surprise babysitting job. Wait, isn't Shu good with kids?"
"Yeah I am! I love kids!" Aph's face is full of excitement. " How about you guys both come over to my house?" Aph continues with her happy face.
"What about your mom?" Me and Aaron both asked since we were chased out of her house.
" My mom's working this weekend. Besides, she loves babies too." Aph says.
"Okay!" Aaron says like he is relieved.
"Why me!?" I say.
"Come on, it will be fun!" Aph says making starry eyes.
" Fine. I guess I'll listen to the potato." I say smirking.
" Hey!" Aph yells.
" I'm just kidding, be there in a bit." I say and then close my laptop, grab my crutches, and crawl down the stairs.
"Where are you going?" My nanny says while loading the dishwasher.
"To a friend's house." I say giving her a warm smile. She gives me a warm smile back. "I'll be back soon." I say opening the door and positioning myself to close it. It was a long walk but I finally got there. Aaron opened the door and said,
"What took you so long?!" I point down to my crutches and he looks embarrassed which makes me chuckle a bit. I walk inside and say,
" You seem panicked, what's going on?" I say, hanging onto his shoulder because I was about to fall.
" The baby disappeared!" He says again panicking.
"What!?" I say with a surprised look. "Are you okay? Or did Shu's mom hit your head!" I say scanning him for injuries.
"Shu's is looking around the house. I was supposed to wait for you to check outside. So let's go!" Aaron says hustling me over to the backdoor. We searched everywhere where a baby could go. The bushes, behind a tree, in the pool, in the plants, behind the fence, and we still couldn't find her.
" Wait, you never told me her name?" I say looking at Aaron who has worried eyes.
" Oh, her name is Lilith." Aaron says continuing to look around.
"Lilith." I think to myself. Why does that sound so familiar? I was immediately broken out of my trance when Aph says,
" My mom's gonna flip if she figures out I lost a baby! We'll just have to order a new one!" Aph says grabbing her phone. Me and Aaron both look at each other and blush real hard. I yell up at Aph saying,
"Shu I don't think that's gonna-" I trip over a rock and start falling to the ground. Thankfully like always Aaron caught me.
" Alina, why are you so accident prone?" He says smirking at me but also making sure I'm not hurt. I look up towards him ready to say a witty comeback, but then I see something I thought I'd never.
" Um, what does the kid look like again?" I say.
" She has light brown hair and starry blue eyes, why?" Aaron says questioning where I'm going with this.
