Lone Wolf. Volume 1

Chapter:5, The Potato Girl.

"I can't put my finger on it. Why does she just seem familiar? That potato girl just makes me think of someone I knew but I can't put my finger on it. She sits in front of me and Aaron in werewolf class, she's short, and a freshman. I'm gonna try talking to her, I just have to figure out how." I thought during Art class. 

She was sitting next to Pretty Boy Laurence and Prince Charming aka Garroth. I was pretty good at art but of course no one knew about it. 

During some classes I was going around helping werewolves since I already passed math for the year. I could've skipped Gym but I really like it so, yeah. Anyway, during my free period I see that potato girl going down the hall. I follow her keeping a low profile. I see Bolto ahead, looks like he is giving her, his I'm innocent speech. She was about to give in but then I stepped in the middle,

"Scram Bolto." I say in a demanding tone making Bolto scram. I turn around and look at her.

"You're the girl in my werewolf class right? Aphmeow?" I said acting as if I had little interest in our conversation.

" Um, yeah you're the one who sits next to that jerk, and my name's Aphmau!" She says with a sour tone.

"Why aren't you in class?" I say leaning on the wall.

"Just going to the bathroom" then she starts to walk away and waves bye to me with such a big smile on her face.

"How can someone be that happy?" I mutter under my breath with my head down, leaning against the wall as she walks away. 

Right then something clicked, she was lying to me. 

I followed her from a distance making sure she never saw me. I followed her all the way to the field. I see her talking with...Gene! I watch her talking to him from a tree. I can't hear a lot but I was able to get, School, skip, or else. 

Are they skipping school? Sounds like she is being forced. If I do anything, bad things are bound to happen. I then thought about what Gene wanted her for but I couldn't come up with anything.

"If Gene is interested then he has a plan to play this girl for a long time." I thought, giving up on any inference I had.

They start walking off grounds,

"I have to follow them, it's the only way." I thought as I followed them ducking behind trees so I wouldn't get caught. I jumped into a tree and stayed there for a minute then came down and started to hide in the bushes. Looks like she's texting someone.

" Beep, Beep." Oh no Shu's texting me, she's gonna blow my cover I check it really quick.

"Alpha, my friend is being blackmailed into doing things that could hurt her future. I don't know how to help her without making it so the bully wins? What should I do." I think for a second before saying,

"You have to make it so the bully loses power before any real damage is done." I answer, noticing that Gene is starting to move again.

" Thanks, Alpha." Shu says right when they start moving again. 

After following them for a few minutes they finally stopped at a park. I looked over and saw Gene try to hand the Potato girl a spray can. I saw her try to deny it but then Gene quickly showed him something on his phone and she took the can from his hand. . 

"Oh no, he has her in deep, he's gonna make her vandalize the bridge!" I thought about what Aphmau could've done to get blackmailed so badly. 

I could see her hating every second of it as she vandalized the bridge.

I had to get back to school since Aaron and I had to choose an Omega. But I just needed to come up with a plan to help her. Something in me said I had to help her.
