Part 6

Ld: "Can I leave now?"

Angela: "No, because your under arrest for the abuse and rape of Lucy Chen."

Ld: "Oh, I'm innocent."

Angela: "No you're not. Your wife has confessed to the abuse, but we have a rape kit done that came back positive."

Ld: "Whatever, it's not like the she didn't enjoy it."

Angela: "She was found crying, you heartless bastard." He got up into Angela's face.

Angela: "Your under arrest." He was taken to holding. Angela ran to Lucy, hugging her tight.

Lucy (crying): "Thanks Ang."

Angela: "Your welcome sissy. I'm happy you're now safe." They hug each other.

Grey: "You two get to have the rest of the week off." They both nod. Angela helps Lucy to walk out of the station. On their way out, they were stopped by the gang.

Nyla: "Woah, Lucy what happened?" Lucy turned to Angela looking for help to respond.

Angela: "It's personal, we will share when she is ready." They all agreed to it.

John: "Wait isn't your birthdays coming up?"

Angela: "Yeah in a few days. I was going to run it by Lu, but what about a party on the beach." Lucy nods her head and everyone is completely down on the idea. The girls head home.

For the rest of the week, Lucy and Angela catch up on lost time. They discussed a few things and went shopping for an outfit. They also gossiped a lot about different things.

The day of the girls birthday arrived, they made their way to the beach. Lucy was able to walk on her foot which made it easier in the sand. Everyone wished them a happy birthday. Gifts were shared, Angela was over the moon for her gift. When someone went to give their gift to Lucy, she was no where to be found. Angela began to panic, looking for her sister. Everyone split up to look for her, when Tim found her under a tree curled in a ball. He slowly approached her.

Tim: "Lucy?" Lucy looked up slightly and saw Tim standing there.

Tim: "Are you okay?"

Lucy: "Yeah, I'm good."

Tim: "I don't think you are. I'll get Angela for you."

Lucy: "Ok, it's just I have never had a birthday before."

Tim: "What do you mean?"

Lucy: "I never celebrated my birthday, so I guess this this all a little overwhelming."

Tim: "I'm sorry you feel like this. Can I give you my gift?" She nods and he hands her the gift. She opens it, to reveal a necklace with a star and moon charms on it. She looked up at Tim.

Tim: "It represents you and Angela. You're the moon, that represents mystery, you're a mysterious person but also can light the way for people in the dark. Angela is the star, the hope she had everyday I have known her, looking for you and searching every lead without giving up any hope."

Lucy: "It's beautiful, thank you." He puts it on her, making sure he is careful with the movement. In that moment he knew is feelings for her.

Tim: "It's not as beautiful as you." Tim couldn't believe he said that to her. Lucy was shocked and confused with what Tim said.

Lucy: "What?"

Tim: "I'm sorry, I shouldn't have said that." He went to leave but Lucy stopped him.

Lucy: "Tim, what's going on?" Tim sighs.

Tim: "Ok, I know you probably don't feel the same but I like you, like like you." Lucy leant in and hugged him and he returned the hug.

Lucy: "I like you too. But we do need to take things slow, as there is something I need to tell you. Also because ..." She paused unsure if she should say it.

Tim: "It's okay, I'm not going to judge."

Lucy: "I have diabetes. And the reason I moved in with Ang is because I couldn't afford everything. She has been helping me with everything and also helping me buy my insulin."

Tim: "Luce, I'm here to help you. Before you start panicking, I'm not leaving you, okay?" She nods her head.

Tim: "Could you tell me the other thing?"

Lucy: "Okay, umm ... I was ... raped by my adoptive parents. Before you do anything stupid, Angela has sorted them out. They also broke my foot." He pulls her close.

Tim: "We'll take this at your pace. Doing everything when you're ready." He places a kiss on her forehead.

Tim: "Shall we go back, I know Angela is worried sick about you." She nods, Tim helps her up. Holding her hands for a moment before he lets go. She grabs one of his hands and holds it. They start walking back holding hands but let go when they reach sight of the others.

Angela: "LUCY." She comes up to Lucy.

Angela: "I'm so glad you're okay. Thank you Tim for finding her." He nods.

Lucy: "I just got a little overwhelmed." They continue the party and has a lot of fun. Everyone leave but Wesley, Angela, Lucy and Tim.

Angela: "Tim, you know you can go home."

Tim: "I know, but I'm not leaving yet." Angela looks at the way he is looking at Lucy.

Angela: "Nooo. You two have confessed."

Lucy: "We have, but we are keeping it quiet. We just want to take things slow."

Wesley: "That's amazing, we won't tell anyone."

Angela: "So Lulu, are you coming home with us or going with Tim?" Lucy looks at Tim.

Tim: "Only if you want to, no pressure."

Lucy: "Ang is it okay if I go with Tim?"

Angela: "Of course, I'll see you tomorrow. Tim, look after my sister."

Tim: "Yes ma'am." They part ways. Tim being a gentleman opened the door and helped Lucy into his truck.

On the car ride over to Tim's ...
