Belle was beyond nervous for the day ahead of her. She had been on her share of dates the last millennium, but this was a whole new ball game. She would be on a date with Niklaus Mikaelson—the man she has loved every second of that millennium.
Three hours before she and Klaus had agreed to leave, Belle sped her way to Rebekah's room, where the vampire and her witch sister sat conversing.
"Becks!" Belle shouted, almost tripping as she reached the couch the sisters sat on. "Niklaus and I are having our first date!" Rebekah smiled widely at that, but at Belle's next words, her eyes widened. "—In three hours."
Rebekah stood immediately, her hands going to her hips. "That's not nearly enough time!" She shouted, turning to look at her sister. "Go get Hayley and Hope, we need all hands on deck for this!"
Freya rolled her eyes despite the fond smile that took over her lips. "They've been in love for over a thousand years, I don't see the big deal."
Rebekah gasped dramatically. "Of course this is a big deal! It's their first date! Romance! Love! Not just the innocent hand holding and cheek kisses they hid their feelings behind the last ten centuries!" She explained, doing her damned best to get her point across by throwing her hands around. "We need to make her look so good, Nik proposes by the end of the night!" Freya shook her head, but went to get Hayley and Hope as told. "And tell Elijah to get Kol and deal with Nik!"
Belle could only stand there wide-eyed. "We need to make her look so good, Nik proposes by the end of the night?" She repeated slowly, her voice low. Despite knowing Rebekah was the perfect person to come to for this kind of thing, what kind of plan was that?
Scoffing, Rebekah waved her off. "I'm just exaggerating!" She then took hold of Belle by her forearm, dragging her over to the seat next to her closet to look at dresses. By now, Freya was back with Hayley and Hope, the youngest of which was bouncing with excitement. "Hayley, you are to do her makeup! Freya, her hair! And you—" Rebekah spun, pushing a lock of red hair behind the child's ear. "—Would you please paint her nails? In a color that would match her dress?"
"Yes!" The little witch squealed, excited to help. "I don't have very many colors, though." The tribrid admitted, her face now downcast as the realization.
Rebekah only smiled, taking her hand and pulling her over to the vanity in the corner of her room. Opening a drawer, she said, "I have that covered, sweetheart! We just need to figure out what color Belle should wear and you can get to work!"
Belle could only sigh as she watched Rebekah bustle around, giving each of the women supplies for their own job. She was in for it now.
Across the house, Klaus sat in his study, barely containing his smile as he drank whiskey, reading a random book he found to pass the time. Truth be told, he was just as excited for his date with Belle, if not more. And nervous, but he would never admit that. Despite that, he couldn't help but be amused by his sister's antics as he eavesdropped.
