The next day Noah came by for a visit. We sat down on the kitchen table, with coffee mugs in our hands as we talked.

"Remember the little red gemstone which grandma gave me when I was little?" Noah asked me before taking a sip from his coffee.

I looked up at him and smiled. "Yeah. The one I was so fond of and I remember being so jealous of you for having that." Noah chuckled.

"Exactly. I still don't know why you were dying to get it from me."

"You still have that, don't you?" I asked as I lifted the mug to my mouth and Noah nodded. "But not anymore I guess."

My eyes furrowed. "What do you mean?" Noah lifted up his index finger to motion me to wait as he searched through his pocket. He pulled out the red gem. He put it on the table and slide it towards me. "Here, it's yours now."

I slowly put my mug down as my face went blank. "You.. are.. giving me.. your gemstone?" I questioned and he vigorously nodded.

"As a birthday gift. It's yours. Now you can stop fancying about it." Noah laughed as I took the gemstone in my hand, looking down at it. It was such a beautiful gem.

"Thank you, brother! I'm gonna keep it safe til I die." I grinned at him. "I know you will." Noah assured.

Noah's eyes suddenly went on the promising ring Niall gave me. "What's this?" Noah questioned pointing at the ring.

"Oh Niall gave it to me. It's a promising ring, he said. It's lovely, isn't it?" I asked him as he looked at the ring intensely. "Yeah it is." He spoke. "So you and his Niall dude. You guys are dating for?"

"Just been a few weeks." I replied smiling. And I suddenly thought of asking him about me and Niall going to his home. He's my elder brother he surely knows what's good for me.

"Speaking of Niall, I needed to ask you something."

"Yeah?"

"Niall requested me to go visit his home with him in Ireland. For a few weeks. What do you think? Should I agree on going there?"

"To Ireland?" Noah asked and I nodded. "Don't you think it's a bit too early to travel that far with a guy?"
