Jimin

Did you cooked for me?

Yoongi knew he would text him, maybe to thank. he was completely immersed with his desire to cook for Jimin that he forgot they aren't close that cooking for the other one would be normal.

He hasn't opened the chat yet, he read the message from notification. He doesn't know what he should say. He waits to see if jimin sends something else.

Suddenly his phone starts ringing making him jump. He looks at the caller ID gulping.

Jimin.

For a moment he thought of ignoring it and he can text the younger later he was busy. However the greedy part of him wants to hear how he liked the food that yoongi cooked for him. For the first time.

He prays to God to not make him regret, as he picks up the call.

"Hello" yoongi says and realises how groggy his voice sounds.

"Why weren't you answering my text? Were you busy?" Jimin asks.

"Didn't took you for someone so demanding Park." Yoongi scoffs.

"Hyungggg I was just asking." Jimin whines again.

Yoongi just hums.

"Did you cooked for me?" Jimin asks cheekily.

Yoongi can hear the smile in the younger's face now.

"I was anyways gonna make dinner for us, thought making some extra wouldn't hurt." Yoongi says hoping to be convincing.

It's just quiet. Jimin isn't even saying anything.

Jimin didn't know how to respond. He forgot for a while that yoongi doesn't like him. But they were improving right? Jimin thought maybe yoongi likes his company even if it's just a little. He stays silent in the line not knowing what to say.

"I cooked for you park. Yes cause you said you are hungry." Yoongi says with a defeated sigh. It's only been few days since they started talking but the power jimin holds on him.

Jimin bursts into giggles. "Why would you lie then?" Jimin asks.

And yoongi thinks maybe he can be honest, it's jimin he thinks he won't mind.

"I thought maybe if i agree i cooked for you it might sound weird. We aren't even that close to---." Jimin cuts him in.

"Who said? I thought we are friends. I talk only to you apart from tae. Maybe kookie and hobi hyung. Others I deal with are just fellow mates. Ahhhh we actually ignored the part where we declare ourselves as friends Hyung. That's why you must be feeling awkward." Jimin giggles again.

"What are we? New year's hot sale? Come on park what do you mean we didn't declare. Sometimes you behave like preschool kid seriously." Yoongi scoffs.

"Kids are cute. Then I must be cute too, to be called kid." Jimin giggles again.

God this boy is gonna be death of me. "And you clearly ignored the part where I was talking about your behaviour. Ignorant,  Annoying, crank, whiny and oh cry baby too." Yoongi says.

Jimin giggles again. "Oh I wouldn't deny. That's how I behave with people I am close with." Giggles again.

Gosh what's with this boy being so giggly now. "Why does it feels like you are being more giddy than usual?"

"Cause I am. Hyunggg thank youuuuu. My heart feels so happy." He rubs his heart feeling how content he is now. "It's been days since we had something nice, home made. The food was so good." Jimin says basking in the feeling.

Suddenly remembers "and one more thing. That's actually my favourite meal. Did you knew it? Or it's just a strange coincidence?" Really curious about it.

Yoongi feels caught. "Hobi said. When he found me cooking for you in the kitchen, he suggested me."

Oh. "Hobi hyung is back from his home town?" Is it why you took an off? Went unsaid.

"Yeah. I didn't know. He wanted to surprise us. Unfortunately Joon wasn't home today, and it was only me."

He doesn't know why but he kind of feels relieved. oh but "Wait wait! how did you know hobi hyung?and jungkook too? how did i never knew they know you already?" Jimin speaks in a fast pace just like how he is thinking now.

Yoongi chuckles at his antics making jimin stop speaking. Jimin would really like to see how yoongi looks chuckling, cause he sounds way too adorable. He bits his lips to stop himself from saying something stupid.

"Hoba, joonie and me have been friends since highschool." Jimin listens.

"we got to know Jungkook and jin Hyung through band, and now are friends too. We almost live together." Yoongi says and Jimin can clearly hear the fondness in his voice.

"Band? YOU MEAN LIKE A MUSIC BAND? A GROUP WHO SINGS AND MAKES MUSIC?" jimin asks in a high pitched voice.

Yoongi chuckles again making Jimin's heart flutter. what's wrong with you weirdo? jimin asks his heart.

"Yes a music band. A group of people who sings and makes music." Chuckles again, everything about Jimin is cute. Yoongi couldn't hold back his demeanor.

"Hyunggggggg. is it only me that didn't know? How come i never heard about this band? and why jungkook and hobi hyung never told me?" Jimin asks soundly.

"Silly, how would i know." Oh It's the first time yoongi calls him something other than Park, lets avoid the dickhead. But this sounds nice.

He knows yoongi must be smiling about him being silly. Jimin goes quiet with his inner turmoil. He is feeling a lot and not knowing why is frustrating him.

"We never really publicized ourselves. i am sure half of the uni doesn't know about this band." Yoongi says intently.

Jimin only hums, he has so much running in his mind. he doubts if he can speak words that make sense.

 " Will you come to uni tomorrow Hyung?" Jimin asks expecting.

"Yes." Straight answer

 In the beginning it seemed rude but now yoongi just behaves like a grumpy cat. Isn't rude.

"Okay okay. I think I should go and finish my assignment. But I really wanna sleep, I think I will sleep well today since my tummy is so happy." Yoongi is glad. He's happy too now.

"Thank you Hyung."

"Okay" and it makes Jimin giggle.

"Bye." With that Jimin gets back to work with a smiley face.
