Jungkook quickly scans the kitchen and the fridge for ingredients. And he decides to make some Friedrice quickly.

It's only been minutes and jungkook moves with a bowl of Friedrice towards the couch.

He places it in front of tae on the table. And sits beside him.

"Come one. Quickly Finish it like a good boy." Jungkook says sounding bossy.

Tae bursts out into a chuckle and gets the bowl to eat. He was half way when he feels full.

When tae puts the bowl back on the table jungkook seems to understand and immediately grabs the glass of water to tae. Tae takes it smiling gratefully.

Jungkook takes away the bowl and closes it with a lid before putting it in the fridge.

"I am putting it in the fridge. Don't forget to eat it later okay. And reheat before eating." He says while walking back to tae.

"You should take a nap. Come on." Jungkook says pulling him from the tae.

Tae doesn't argue. He really wants to be looked after now. And jungkook.... Is doing great. He likes it, being cared by him. So he complies whatever he says.

Jungkook takes him to his room. Makes tae lie down and tucks in the comforter. "Sleep well tae." With that he turns but tae grabs his hand hastily.

"Thank you." Tae says and looks at him hoping his eyes are expressing how grateful he is for everything jungkook did for him today.

Jungkook smiles and leans down to place a peck on tae's hair. Suddenly he can feel all the blood rushing to his face. Taehyung's hair smells like strawberry.

Taehyung's breathe hitches when jungkook leaned down on him to peck his head. He is dazed now.

Jungkook moves back and ruffles his hair. "I'll lock the door when I leave. Rest well." With that he scurries out of the room.

When tae wakes up again he notices he's been asleep for 2 hours now. He yawns and gets up from the bed waddling towards the kitchen to get some water.

He chugs down the glass of water and only then he notices the paper bag placed on the table. He doesn't remember bringing anything, jimin isn't back yet. Then what is this.

He moves to get it and peeks inside.
Two tubs of ice cream butterscotch and strawberry. Few chocolate bars and a note.

He picks up the note curiously.

You worked hard tae, you deserve a reward.

Tae smiles looking at the note he's still holding. Why does jungkook has to be such a gentleman? He wonders and rushes to get his phone.

He dials jungkook's number.

"Hey" jungkook sounds a bit hoarse. "Hiii" tae says he's feeling shy for unknown reasons.

"Did you slept well?"

"Yeah..." Tae can hear his heartbeat getting louder. He bits his lips not knowing what's happening.

"Are you feeling better now?" Jungkook asks so soft.

"Yeah" it's like tae knows no other words.

"Okay. Remember to eat the leftover before you get to bed. Don't think too much okay. " It seems like jungkook is gonna hang up.

Tae panics and rushes "uhhh kookie. Thank you... For the reward. I liked it." Tae mumbles his face feels so hot.

Jungkook chuckles and its airy making tae's heart flip. "It's okay. I am glad you liked it."

Both are quiet for a few seconds and tae goes "are you free now?"  hesistantly.

"Yeah.." jungkook yawns.

"Can you join me for a movie now? It's okay if you can't I unders-----" tae starts rambling.

Jungkook chuckles again "Sure tae. I have nothing much to do. I can join you. I'll be there in 15." He says.

"Okay." Tae feels so giddy.

And when this time jungkook knocks the door he's greeted with a smiling tae.

"Hii." Tae smiles pressing his lips in a line. "Hii" jungkook smiles back. Tae moves aside to let jungkook in.

"Did you eat?" Jungkook asks eyes wandering near kitchen to check if tae tried attempting any stunts like cooking and chopping. Thank fully it's same as he left.

"Yep." A little more excited tae speaks moving to turn on the tv and grabbing the remote.

"Good" jungkook says plopping on the couch.

Tae hands the remote to jungkook and rushes to the kitchen "you can go over and choose something to watch."

He gets the butterscotch ice cream tub from the fridge and scoops some to put in two glass bowls. And quickly gets back.

"Here." He gives it to jungkook and sits beside him.

"Tae that was for you. It was your reward." Jungkook says.

"Well. It is mine so I choose what to do with it. And I want to share it with you." Tae says showing his Biggest boxy smile to jungkook.

Jungkook's eyes linger at his mouth and then back to his eyes. Oh how they are glittering. He hopes he helped tae even if it's a bit. He just wants to grab him and press him close to his chest. He badly wants to protect him from this world.

He holds himself back and just smiles turning his face away. If he kept looking at him he might end up doing something he would regret later.

Tae might be imagining but it felt like jungkook wants to say something but he is preventing himself not to.

Since jungkook couldn't decide what to watch, they ended up watching a Marvel movie chosen by tae.

After all the unpleasant events happened today he feels better now. Stomach filled, his taste buds having a blast of sweetness with the icecream he's having, watching one of his favourite movies and having someone beside who genuinely cares about him so much to such extent apart from his soulmate jimin.

It feels nice.
