In the kingdom of Eldoria, fear hung heavy in the air as rumors of a witch terrorizing the city spread like wildfire. People whispered in hushed tones of dark magic and sinister curses, and the streets emptied long before the sun dipped below the horizon.

King Joseph knew he had to take action to protect his people from the witch's malevolent influence. With a heavy heart and a sense of grim determination, he decreed that the witch would be captured and brought to justice.

Armed with torches and pitchforks, the king's men combed the city in search of the elusive witch. But try as they might, she remained one step ahead, her dark magic cloaking her movements in shadows.

It wasn't until a young girl stumbled upon the witch's hidden lair deep in the forest that the king's men finally caught their quarry. With chains wrapped tightly around her wrists, the witch was dragged before King Joseph, her eyes blazing with defiance.

"Your reign of terror ends here, witch," declared the king, his voice ringing out across the crowded square.

The witch laughed, a sound filled with bitter scorn. "You may burn my body, but my curse will live on long after I'm gone."

And with those chilling words, the king ordered the witch to be burned at the stake, her fate sealed by the flames of justice.

But as the fire consumed her, something unexpected happened. With a deafening roar, the witch exploded in a shower of sparks and smoke, her dark magic unleashing a torrent of chaos upon the city.

When the smoke cleared and the flames died down, the people of Eldoria emerged from their homes to find that their world had been irrevocably changed. The sky was shrouded in an eternal twilight, the streets twisting and turning in on themselves until they no longer made sense.

Time became a meaningless concept, slipping through their fingers like grains of sand. Days bled into nights, and nights into days, until no one could remember what it was like to live in the light of the sun.

And as for the witch's curse? It lingered like a shadow, a constant reminder of the darkness that had descended upon the city. No one could remember their own name, or the names of their loved ones. They wandered the twisted streets in a state of perpetual confusion, lost and alone in a world that had been forever changed by the witch's malevolent magic.
