"Okay babes, cheer up now, no time to be pouty. We have a 5 hour drive ahead and I don't want to fight anymore. I have some snacks, I charged your I-pad for some entertainment, so you're going to survive" Natasha said, chuckling softly.

Julie just narrowed her eyes in response

"Are we ready, honeybabes? Let's go!" Yelena yelled as she turned up the radio and turned out of the garage, heading to their beach house. Natasha just smiling broadly in response.

They we're on the road for about 30 minutes and everything was going smoothly, I was looking out of the window, listening to the music that was softly playing in the background. I'm getting a bit bored though.

"Tasha, can I play on the Ipad?" I asked, I never had an Ipad before, or even got to hold one. So don't blame me for being curious.

"Sure honey, I put some games for you on there" She said as she grabbed the Ipad out of her bag and handed it to me

I reached for the Ipad and turned it on, eager to know what I could do with it. I saw YouTube, notes, agenda, safari and some games called Minecraft, Roblox, My talking Tom and My toca boca world. I knew of course that I couldn't watch YouTube or play Roblox because you need WiFi for it to work, but we still had some apps left. I started trying out the games, finding them quite entertaining to be honest. Before I knew, an hour went by, and Natasha asked for the Ipad.

"Honey, can you hand me the Ipad? It's nap time babe" Natasha asked softly as she reached her arm back, waiting for me to place the Ipad in her hand. 

"No I'm not tired Natasha, can I play a little longer please?" I asked 

"Honey, I don't want you getting tired and cranky later on. It's important to stick to a routine, it's very important for growing kiddo's like you"

"Natasha, I'm literally 16, I think i can survive without a nap. I've been doing it for the last 12 years!" I said pleadingly

"Please give me the Ipad honey. I made a bottle for you back at home in this thermos and it's still warm. You can drink that for lunch and take a nap after" Natasha said as she reached her arm back again.

I sighed and gave the Ipad back, I wasn't planning on going to sleep, but i still wanted to keep the privilege to play on the Ipad. I strangely very much enjoyed that.

"Thank you babe, here is your bottle" Natasha said softly and gave me the thermos

"Thank you" I mumbled softly but knowing that no way in hell I was going to drink that. I just started looking outside seeing that we steadily left the city behind. 

"Okay we need to get some gas for the car and some new snacks" Yelena mused loudly

"New snacks? We have a whole bag full of snacks Lena, you don't need more snacks?" Natasha asked surprised

"My dear Nattooshy, you have it all wrong. There isn't such thing as not needing more snacks! You can always have more snacks!" Yelena cheered on making me chuckle

"See?! Julie even thinks that I'm right!"

My eyes widened, still not feeling entirely comfortable with going against Natasha's wishes with such normal things. Some old fosters would lash out for these kinds of talk back

"No, no, no! I'm okay! I don't have an opinion on this matter" I said quickly, not wanting Natasha to get mad at me.

"Babe, you're okay" Natasha said chuckling. "You don't have to agree with me, you can speak freely here okay? I won't ever punish for speaking up and giving your opinion on certain things. You're okay baby" she said as she looked at me trough the rear mirror.
