"Thank you for helping me lena, I really appreciate and enjoy it doing it with you" Natasha said as she wrapped her arms around her younger sister. "I'm so glad you came with us"

"Don't worry Nat, I loved doing it with you. I already love that booger so much" Yelena said as they pulled away.

"I think that I'm going to bed too, it was a long day and I think we're gonna be on the beach for a long time tomorrow" Yelena mused softly

"yeah, I think so too. I love you lena, sleep well" Natasha said as she pressed a kiss to Yelena's forehead.

She couldn't wait for tomorrow to come.

Julie opened her eyes, everything was still dark. She blearily looked up at her crib, seeing white flowers dancing around the bars and disappearing behind some pink cloth that is wrapped around the crib. Slowly she notices the binky that is still in her mouth, and she quickly spits it out.

She turns her head to the right and sees Natasha still sleeping in her bed, next to the bed stands a nightstand with a digital clock on it. Julie just barely makes out the time, 03:19 AM.

She sighs to herself, all the sleeping in the car and the early bedtime resulted in being wide awake in the middle of the night. She wants to get out of this crib, but it is nearly impossible with a broken arm (still in a cast, btw) and one of the best spies in the world sleeping not even 3 meters away from her. Walking out of this room without waking Natasha is not in the cards this time. So her only options are waiting, try to fall asleep again or calling for Natasha and asking if they can start the day this early. Waiting is boring, no way in hell am I going to wake Natasha, so trying to sleep it is.

I shift back and forth in my bed, trying to find a comfortable position to fall asleep again. It's made quite difficult by my sleeping bag though (without sleeves, by the way?!?!) and the fact that I don't  have a pillow. I'm so used to sleeping with a blanket and pillow that it's nearly impossible for me to fall asleep without them. After an hour of tossing and turning in my bed, I give up on falling asleep. It's almost 4:30 by now, so my hope that Natasha will wake up soon is high.

I suddenly hear a door open in the hallway and soft footsteps passing our bedroom door, that must be Yelena. Leaving the room alone is probably not an option if it were up to Natasha, but going together with Yelena will likely be approved. I sit up straight in the crib and gather the courage to wake Natasha. But what am I even going to say? Hey Nat, can you please pick me up and give me to Yelena? I'm bored and want to do something, but you can keep sleeping? That sounds too pathetic.

I see something blinking in the corner of my eye to my right on the windowsill. I quietly get up (easier said than done, stupid sleeping bag and cast) and pick up the blinking device. I turn it around and immediately recognize the tiny device,  a baby monitor. How didn't I think of that? The receiver must be in the living room, where Yelena is right now, I could just ask Yelena herself to come and get me! Now I just need to get Yelena's attention without waking Natasha, gonna be easier said than done I'm afraid. I sit back down and I'm working up the courage to talk to the baby monitor and call for Yelena, until I hear soft footsteps approaching in the hallway. I quickly reach over the crib and put the baby monitor back in its place and lay down. Don't know why i did that, but somehow it feels that I did something wrong because I'm awake when I should be sleeping.

The door softly creeks open and Natasha immediately starts to stir. I see Yelena quietly entering the room and walking towards the crib. Yelena reaches in the crib and lifts me up underneath my armpits, puts me on her hip and walks back to the door. I see Natasha sitting upright in bed, looking groggily at us.
